Pyle P2001BT Review
I am using this pre-amp in a surround sound setup. I had low noise through the speakers, and I thought it was this preamp. After researching the problem and doing some testing, I realized the problem was my HDMI cord was the cause of the low hum. Once I move the cord, I fix that problem. I have been happy with the preamp since that change.

Dec 1 2022 update
1st month in review. Look if you've never owned any "higher end" equipment and willing to take a risk 80% chance on getting a decent amp. If it's for time to time usage, such as house parties, Indoor events (1 story warehouse) I would say "Definitely worth the money". If you're "higher end" person brands like, Dennon, Onkyo, Yamaha, Macintosh, etc. and want quality/ precision sound control adjustments, built to last. Well I wouldn't suggest this. Some good things I can say is power most definitely significantly more than lets say a Yamaha 200w natural sound receiver. + Multiple speaker (6) outputs, sub woofer individual volume control as well. Sound quality = 8.5 based on 1 to10 scale, 10 being best. Button(s)/ knob(s) quality = 5.0. There's like a 1 sec delay react time. Example if I want to switch from Am/ Fm to the next source. Or if I want to go to next preset station, etc. Overall if you want something decent don't care for brand name and want to spend as little as possible for best quality and don't mind like a 25% chance of some kind of abnormality in the unit (it may vary between good or bad) then I would recommend that you buy right away. If you don't expect too much then you'll be surprised in a good way. In my case I paid for a 2000 watt unit, but on print it says 3000 watts (see photo). Im running 2 tower speakers. (2x8" speakers per tower. 1 JBL self powered 12" sub and 1 Klipsche 10" self powered sub split w/ Y ext rca plug extension. The base shakes the whole house and you can feel the thump in your body short bass and long bass. The bad stuff, a loud thump when powering on. Unless you leave on standby.. Cannot control volume with remote. No presets for sound. Presetting radio stations takes some patience.Overall for the price and upgrade of power from my previous Yamaha 200 watt receiver I give it a thumbs up. But unsure of longevity of unit. So far about 1 month in, iI used it 3-4 times 1-2 hrs per use no problems occur so far.

Don't bother, terrible warranty policy
When I got this amp, it seemed to work fine. However within a couple weeks the media input from my TV did not have a solid connection. I wasn't too upset though because I mostly wanted this for music. Another month later the output was terrible across all channels. The sound quality was terrible and filled with tons of static. I checked everything else in my system and it was working fine. I reached out for a warranty and the company wanted me to package and ship it out on my some, not offering to cover the shipping costs and estimated 4-6 weeks for a repair. That's just a terrible policy and seeing how quick this broke, I really don't trust it to last and didn't want to shell out a bunch of money to properly package and ship it. Luckily I was still within the Amazon return window and went that route. Going to look for a better amp for my system because that policy is horrible. Avoid the headache and look elsewhere

jury still out, all ok now
After 1 week of enjoyment I just found out all 4 speakers have distorted mid range and bass response.Only the tweeters are operating properly. Thankfully I purchased the 3 year extended warranty. Now I have to go through the warranty procedure. Thats why the jury is still out.Amendment1: Going to be testing with DVD player to verify speaker outputs week of 16th. Issue may be a BT problem. Pyle is working with me to resolve problem.Ammendment2: I connected a DVD to listen to music via a cd and the output was great. My son had thebass turned up to much which made near by items in the living room vibrate. Mid range and up soundedgood as well. BT was not a problem as some of the music was not recorded at high bit rates.Pyle support stuck with me until resolution. Thanks again Pule support.I feel that they Cared. Thanks

PAST HISTORY
Item arrived as stated it was secure enough to ensure it was not damaged during shipping. After attaching the amplifier, it operated within the expected norm. What I did not realize is it would not support my two in-ground passive subwoofers around our pool. Not their fault, but mine, I am not an audiophile, but I know what I like when I see and hear it.The unit appears sturdy enough and although the dials have no numerical value assigned, they appear well attached and sturdy and like they would last quite a while. My low score is based upon the unsatisfactory track record of Pyle customer support from another product. This is the third of three Pyle products I have purchased, the first was the Pyle Bluetooth amplifier (PTA62BT5) & the second, Pyle 6 Channel speaker selector switch (PSLSW6). The former ceased to work exactly 26 days after product support ended! I figured, at least the company would provide some kind of support or a replacement, even at small rate. Meanwhile, I did not want to be without music or sports around our pool so I ordered the other items, I have two in-ground subwoofers and 16 other speakers around the pool and landscape. When the company finally reached out to me, they only offered a 10% discount on future Pyle products.Upset is a minor term to use in my reaction. I advised the Pyle agent I will be returning all Pyle equipment and will no longer order any of their products. I did not wish to realize a year or so down the road the product was a waste of my funds and I would have to replace everything based upon the past history of their first product and their poor customer support for their product.
