Dislocated my shoulder and bought this item and helped me with my shoulder recovery made me feel safe and stable

Listen to all reviews. It fits tight! Go up a size. I had help measuring and went by chart. It was cutting into my armpit all day. The arm band was also way too snug while adjusting it to the biggest fit. The worst was it cutting into my armpit though. Definitely size up for comfort. It does support your shoulder though. Just wish I had listened about sizing. Also, there was no weird smell at all. The quality was fine too.

The strap that goes around your upper arm is very short and difficult to put on without assistance. The stiff "hook" side of the velcro on that strap rubs against the skin and gets very uncomfortable very quickly. I added a strip of velcro so it will reach.

Purchased:(Jan 2023 been using for year and a half) I don't know why but my shoulder started hurting ... age? arthritis? old injury? who knows? The bottom line was pain was affecting my enjoyment of summer yard work and other activities. I decided to try this after reading a gillion reviews. VERY PLEASED!! It fits well, I wear size 12 woman's blouse. It holds firm enough to still move comfortably and is easy to get ahold of the strap to secure it. I can wear it over or under a shirt and it isn't itchy or scratchy. I had used it daily for a few weeks and now it is a few times a week for a couple of hours. I can't say it was a cure all... nothing is. BUT, between using the brace adding gin-raisins, Glucosamine & Chondroitin, spa and stretching exercises I'm still moving!!

Not stable. Rides up bicep. Digs into ribs on opposite side because the wrap around portion is too narrow. Did not help my torn labrum much

Came with no instructions on how to properly apply brace to shoulder. When I finally figured out how to successfully put it on, I felt the my lower arm go numb because the bicep strap was way too small. Top of brace was “floating” above my shoulder instead of holding tight against my skin, providing 0% support.

This brace not only helps as a brace alone but makes using ice so much easier to fully cover the painful area. The brace is comfortable and easy to use.
