This has been a life saver for sensitive stomach dog food. Our yorkie has been on this food since he was young (he is 9 now) this has been the only food that he can truly process without disrupting his routine. He often throws up after other foods or treats and this food has been a game changer for limited ingredients, he knows the bag and Amazon always delivers fast and loves it fresh!

Both of my dogs love this feed, Blue Basics Limited Ingredient Salmon and potatoes. I like that fish maintains my Dachshund's body weight. Both of my dogs love the texture and taste - they are always eager to eat the feed and is the first time they have finished a whole bag before it became stale. I switched my Dachshund from Pedigree feed that the Rescue advised to feed him and a Miniature Pinscher from 4Health Fish and potatoes feed as the Rescue advised to feed him.

My dog enjoyed the food, but there are two size kibbles in this mix. One larger, one small round kibble. She’d eat the larger one, and leave the smaller. Refused to eat it. Everyday I’d get the broom out and gather small black round kibble pieces and throw in the trash. So, if your dog is picky, I’d find another mix …maybe. I switched to another mix of BLUE for her. She’s fine now.

My dog has stomach issues and this food has been awesome. He really loves it and cant wait to be fed every time.It has different textures like smaller blueberry type pellets that make it interesting and appealing for dogs.I saw another review mentioning food always arriving late. To avoid this be sure to order several days in advance. When I see my dog has less than 1 week of food left I re-order.Also ordering the large bags if you have a smaller dog (mine is a cocker spaniel) it can last you a couple of months.If you are looking for a food your dog will love and wont upset their stomach this is the best food there is. My dog also has very soft and shiny fur.

Weve been feeding our dog Blue for several years, slowly switching to Senior versions and now this one. None have caused her stomach problems. Glad Blue has foods that can take her from puppy to 14yrs old

We'd been feeding our three year old dog this specific brand and flavor of dry food, Blue Buffalo Basics, Grain Free, Lamb and Potato and she pooped once a day. Then a few weeks ago, everybody was sold out of this and I bought a different version of Blue Buffalo. Not Basics, and not Lamb and Potato. Suddenly her poop jumped to twice a day, so she clearly wasn't digesting the other version as well. I am overjoyed to find this available again and bought two bags. We still need to finish out the previous food but I am confident that her poop will return to normal once we're on the Basics again. Moral of the story: Different foods, even within the same brand, can affect your dog's poop. Sometimes you need to go with trial and error, do some research on brand quality, and if one doesn't set well with your dog, try another. Like people, all dogs have different needs.

Dog wouldn't eat the tiny pieces in the kibble and it also made her have a bad odor that she didn't have before.
