I would say no this depends on what lnb is fitted as a rule Sky fit wideband lnbs normally for new Sky Q installs. Sky Q lnb's are called wideband lnb's designed for use with the Sky Q boxes only. If you change the LNB on the dish to either a legacy lnb (sky hd only) or a hybrid lnb and hybrid can operate both Sky hd and Sky Q at the same time will you get this working on the Sky hd box.
