Nice hook attachment. Screwed right on to a regular broom handle. Use it on our boat for hooking crab pot lines. Works perfectly.

We bought this to use in the winter to remove our Pool Skimmer covers and pull out the Baskets to empty. Easily connects/screws into a wood handle with a metal threaded end. Even though we do not use it for what it is advertised for, we can tell it is very strong and will last a long time.

Seems to be a sturdy product. It fit well on my extension pole, I will use it on my boat to help with docking, and retrieving runaway floats.

It is not a Telescoping pole, it's just a hook that goes on a standard mop or painters pole. It fit my mop hand just fine.

Another item for my sailboat. It works great, I would buy it again.

I purchased to hang lights and use for utility functions during camping that will prevent having to use a ladder. The Threads fit my 12 foot painters pole. That was what I wanted. I purchased 2 knowing that they would hold up to what I would be using them for. It appears to be heavy duty if you were using it for boating (I have a large boat and already had a boat hook) so speaking from experience. It has a metal insert for the threads and I didn't pay attention how it was secured in the hook body (set screws or pressed in.) Pulling with force would be the only issue with that if it were to become one.
