Easy to use, and has many uses. Accuracy, built well, nice small size.

It’s accurate and easy to use.
It was inexpensive and I bought it to check my griddle temp for large church breakfasts. Knobs are never accurate and there are 4 elements across a 48” griddle and those spaces need to match temps so all pancakes cook the same from right to left when I flip them. This temp gun allows me to set it and forget it!! Accuracy is everything on a hot food line. I also use it to check my horses hooves for temperature differences which can indicate a hoof infection without stressing the horse. Also safer. When one hoof is hotter than the other three, time to investigate. I also shoot trailer hubs for the same reason when I’m hauling loads. Bad bearings start warming and if you are diligent in taking readings, you can avoid a failure by adding grease before it gets worse.Get one!! It’s fun and you will find 100 ways to use it!!

High Temp IR Thermometer
I discovered that many if not most IR thermometers do not have a high enough range to use in pizza ovens. I also found if you find an IR thermometer that does have a high enough range the price is 2 times as much if not more. The thermometer reads in celsius or Fahrenheit. The thermometer also has a red dot so you can aim at the area you are measuring.

This product is essential for preparing to bake pizza or anything else in our Ooni oven. It operates flawlessly and turns a guessing game into an exact science. Very good bang for my buck!
