Homax4092-06 Group 4092 Drywall Spray Texture Water Base, 20-Ounce, White

I got this because I needed to save money and at Fred Meyer and the big stores. This stuff is expensive so I got this. It came the next day I had already patched my areas. I opened it. I put it on the setting and sprayed it. It worked the first time it worked through the whole can, and it got everything done easy to clean up And I love it. I’m getting this again.

This is exactly what you'd find at a home improvement store, just a bit more affordable. Pretty easy to use and has a little forgiveness if you come behind and 'knock it down' with a damp sponge.

The Homax 4092 Aerosol Texture Water-Based Orange Peel Wall Texture is a decent product for small wall repairs and touch-ups. It does the job, but it requires a bit of practice to get the texture just right. The aerosol can is convenient and easy to use, but I found that the spray was a bit inconsistent at times, leading to uneven texture. It helps to do a few tests first. The finish matches well with existing orange peel textures, but achieving a seamless blend can be challenging. Overall, it's a handy product for quick fixes, but don't expect professional results without some trial and error.

My bride told me about this product and let me say I was more than skeptical. We bought new TP hardware and changed sides. The spackle repair stuck out because it was smooth and our walls had a titch of texture. So I bought this product and poof!! It worked beyond expectation. When you read the label that says to be 24 inches away, believe the instructions! Shake well and after a few spritz’s with this your wall looks like new.

I should have read the reviews on here first as I usual do on everything I buy, but I thought what could go wrong with something like this? Famous last words right? I also should have bought this at Home Depot as I would have been able to return it. This product can't be returned via Amazon. Waste of money! SAVE YOUR MONEY! Like others stated, nozzle broke as soon as the safety tab was removed. I tried over & over to re-attach the nozzle & spray. It just drizzled out in a constant mess of liquid. What a complete ripoff. Amazon states you can't return this because it is of a hazardous material, etc., yet they have no problem shipping it to you. Hmm? UPDATE: How does Homax get away with selling this junk? I decided to go to Home Depot's website last night & check out their reviews on this product as well. Nothing but negative reviews. I guess if we as customers keep buying this product, they will keep selling them. You'd think Homax would want to improve their product. Again, save your money as it can't be returned through Amazon or you can find out the hard way like I did.

I had to repair a wall that is about 1 foot x 2 feet. This product worked ok in that there is a "knob" (a black lever circled in red in the picture) to adjust the size of texture. While this feature seemed to work well, for the size that I was looking for, the "lever" was in the way of the nozzle where you press down (a grey part circled in red in the picture). So it was a bit awkward to use.Good:- It "works" - but I would only use it for a small DIY job.- Relatively easy to determine the size of the texture that you want. Just have pieces of cardboards around and spray on them as you turn the black knob.Not so good:- Ergonomics - by that I mean the placement of the black knob, which can obscure the nozzle that you have to press.- It is also runny and not consistent. After a few passes, spray again on a piece of cardboard to make sure that it's working properly before spraying it against the wall. For my 1 foot by 2 feet area, I had to constantly test and check to make sure that the spray was working properly as intended.All in all, I would say that it's ok for a small DIY project.

Saw this at my hardware store for about $5 more than on Amazon. This stuff does really good if your fixing holes in the wall and suck at texturing like me. My walls look like a pro textured them.i used 3 of these for my entire bathroom. Looks great.

This did a great job resurfacing the drywall after a small patch job! Blends beautifully into the original walls.
