I bought this item to remove plaque on my teeth and it works great. It is easy to hold and use and would recommend. It has some good weight to it.

I bought this to reduce the plaque buildup between dentist visits. It works well so far. I have put it in the dishwasher and it came out fine.I know this is not the quality of the dentist's tools but it is great for the price and it works nicely to reduce the plaque buildup. Be careful! It is sharp!

I would not have purchased this if my dentist didn't recommend me to. My kids accumulate a lot of plaque on their teeth, brushing and flossing is not enough so she recommended we get this and give a good clean periodically between their well visits.I was able to get most of the plaque off my son's teeth, I stayed away from the gums because I don't want any accidents, super easy to use and great quality as well.

I have some crooked teeth from which it is nearly impossible to remove tartar/plaque buildups with simple brushing and flossing. I purchased two (2) of these picks to undertake occasional extra cleaning. These picks are quite sharp, and relatively durable, and were an economical purchase for my intended use. I rate them "relatively" durable, as they are sufficient for plaque removal from around the gum line, but some care must be taken to avoid bending the pick ends when cleaning between teeth. I am happy with my purchase, and expect that the picks should easily last two to three years, at which point I'll simply replace them, and downgrade my current ones to my toolbox, where I expect they'll serve usefully for a couple more years.

Excellent product
