Miele Complete C3 Brilliant PowerLine Canister Vacuum Cleaner SGPE0 with SEB 236

I have wanted this vacuum for awhile so I finally purchased it. It has great suction and easy to use. It’s small, lightweight, and cleans the wooden floors quickly with the large floor piece. The cord is long enough but I use a vacuum cord attachment so I do not need to unplug and replug in the larger room. I would like to add the furniture attachment at some point. I am hoping for this to be an outstanding purchase. So far, I love it!

This vacuum arrived with a broken handle piece. It was inside the packed box and clearly a manufacturing defect. I'll warn you now: Miele provides little to no customer service. It was painfully difficult jumping through their bureaucratic process to try and get a replacement part (that I'm guessing would have been relatively cheap for them to just mail out?)Eventually, they wanted me to drive two hours to a repair shop for 'free servicing'. If I wanted to spend an entire day driving to a vacuum shop I wouldn't have purchased their product online. Their attitude seemed to be 'this is what you get for buying online instead of visiting one of our approved shops'.Basically, if you purchase on Amazon, you're a second-class citizen to them.Thankfully Amazon was wonderful in their customer support and allowed me to return the item with no problem at all. I won't be purchasing any Miele products in the future.

Although this was the most expensive vacuum cleaner I’ve ever purchased, it only took using it once to appreciate the quality and ease of use. The variable suction and maneuverability makes vacuuming the stairs, hardwood floors, rugs, and carpet a breeze. My partner had never used a canister vac and quickly fell in love with the functionality compared to other style vacs.

I have cleaned hardwood, carpet and throw carpets with my new expensive Miele. The best feature is the handle controls. So nice. As with my C2 model, the power cord pulls out of the wall rather than release more cord as I vacuumed. It pulled my power strip out of the power outlet.The power rug attachment is very heavy. I tried to use it on my throw rugs...and even at the lowest suction power I had to physically lift the attachment off the rug and move it back to start the next section . It vacuumed my regular carpet very well.The third attachment, one that can be used on floors and carpet...doesn't do anything very well. It does work better on the throw rugs, though.I just do no think that is worth $1,500. I mostly use it on hard wood floors and as I said not an improved performance over the C2.

This vacuum is awesome! I threw my stand-up vacuum away, there was absolutely no comparison. This vacuum has amazing suction power and lots of attachments for all the areas that are hard to get clean. I love it!

Overall, this vacuum does what it promises. However, don't screw up like me. If you don't affix the bag properly and any dust gets in the compartment it blows the motor. $700 - $900 fix in CA. Decided to leave it at the vac store and move on. BMW of vacuum cleaners. Cool, powerful, and sleek until something small goes wrong.
