Powerful, great sound quality
We needed a roving mic for an event with 150+ people in attendance, and this did the job with power to spare. The thing to remember, however, is to speak right in to the head of the microphone, very close, and the sound will be picked up very well. Our non-profit is happy with this purchase.

Better than low end systems, but not as good as the expensive brands
I tested out this system against a low-end Pyle unit that costs about 1/3 as much and also against a more expensive one that costs more than twice as much. This Hisonic unit is apparently a Chinese knockoff of an expensive unit by a Taiwanese manufacturer. The sound quality and volume on the Hisonic unit is better than the cheap Pyle unit, but has less power/volume and noticeably inferior sound quality compared to the more expensive Taiwanese unit. I got this Hisonic unit because it has a passive speaker out port, which the Taiwanese unit doesn't have, thinking that might come in handy to distribute sound around a room. However, I was not able to get that to work and the instruction manual is useless. The tripod stand connector on this Hisonic unit is a nonstandard 1-cm screw-in size and identical to the Taiwanese unit. If you want a tripod stand that works for the Hisonic unit you can get one from the one US dealer for the Taiwanese company who happened to be located near me in the Silicon Valley in Campbell, CA. They sell the more expensive system from the Taiwanese company that they're marketing as "Fairfield Audio" and they sell the tripods that fit that unit as well as the inferior knock-off Hisonic one. This Hisonic unit may be adequate for your needs, depends on what you're looking for. In my case I wanted a higher quality unit that would provide better sound for indoor as well as outdoor use so I returned the Hisonic unit. Bonus is that the Taiwanese unit comes with competently-translated manual and a carry bag.

Street Preacher Review
I would not say that it is as powerful as described, but it works well for about a city block, which is fine. The recording feature is nice, but it is too complicated to figure out and the manual was not written well. The same with radio and mp3 play back. I tested the hand held mic, it does work, but did not try it, and I bought a head set that works fine. In regards to power, it only lasts four hours. The manufacture did provide an additional battery, once I told them about the power issue. The additional batter plugs in easily, it looks like it was designed to be replaced, if needed. With the additional battery, I do recommend this PA System. I personally do not like the look of mega phones in general, so this is a great option to have and is not too expensive.UPDATE: I use a head set and plug it in to PA System, and of course I unplug it when done. After continued use, which is about year, 3 days a month, of pluging and unpluging, the place you plug it into gets worn, so that the head set plug is loose and so speaking goes in and out. And you have to hold the plug in too.

Great portable PA
Loud enough for 40 people in a park. Quite light to carry. Rechargeable, wireless mic.Playing music using my iphone through aux-in, it was beautiful. The only problem, when I plug-in guitar, can't hear my own voice. It would be great if there is Bluetooth and separate channel for guitar beside mic.

How to mount up onto speakerpole?
Unit is greatHowever there is no bracket in which to mount the unit to speakerphone or mic stand. The hole is not a traditional mic stand tread size.
