Nearly Natural 8FT Artificial Golden Cane Palm Tree, Fake Palm Tree with Two Realistic Trunks and Lifelike Palm Leaves, Faux Palm Plant for Indoor Home Décor with Black Nursery Planter

This palm is exactly what I wanted and exactly what the seller said it was. The attached picture makes it look taller because of the angle, but I measured it to the tallest leaf tip and it is right at 8 feet. It has a lot of fronds! I was careful not to break the connection to the "trunk" when opening out the leaves, I held the leaf stem from moving at it's base against the trunk and gently bent the wire outward. The shorter tree came fully assembled so the box was almost 6 feet long. The whole thing is not heavy. My biggest complaint is that the top half of the taller tree would not insert properly into the base. There were nails tapped into the top part that were supposed to insert into slots in the bottom, but they were at the wrong angle so I could not secure the top. I had to remove the nails and mark the correct locations. I replaced the nails with small screws because the wooden dowel began to split while I was trying to hammer the nails back in. I never could get the screws to slip down into the slots but they are holding, so far. I put the flimsy plastic container the tree comes in, into a slightly larger basket and filled around it with a bag of polished river rocks. It is quite stable and, thankfully, my cats do not seem to want to mess with it. This seems really sturdy, too. I plan to buy some icicle style Xmas lights and attach them up the trunks and out each frond rather than trying to wrap the whole trunk and go out and back on each leaf. Definitely a great purchase.

Update; plants have been thrown out due to all the branches breaking off and entire plant faded. I attempted to repair but it was a continuous battle. I tried to contact customer service with no response. Definitely do NOT purchase if you have intentions for being outside.Initial review; The reason I purchased these plants were due to having a lot of rain in Florida causing my real plants to flood out. These seemed much easier to take care of. I have a few issues with the products themselves though. The quality does not meet up to what you pay for them. When assembling, there are two screws that need to match up with the holes in order to lock the two pieces into place. However, when you lock it in on one side, the other screw no longer matches up with the hole to lock in the other side (see photos). This, in turn, deceases the stability of the overall plant. Also, the quality of the branches are not very well made. Yes, from far they appear very life-like but you can see the strings of glue coming from the branches (see photo). I already had a branch come out while trying to get rid of the very noticeable glue. I would have not paid more than $25 for these had I seen them in person ahead of time but they are doing the job I intended for them anyway.

Took my time with searching for a realistic tree at a great price and have to say, I found it. Read several reviews before purchasing. Although I'm still in the process of shaping it, found it's easy to shape. Tree is realistic and very tall. Was packed with care and very easy to assemble. Would definitely recommend this one.

This was my first artificial plant purchase and wow what a great experience! I ordered the tree on a Wednesday and we received it on Friday. Simple to unpack and put together, the limbs began to fall into place on their own but I did a little shaping of the wire limbs. Unless you get close to it, 3-4 feet, you cannot tell its fake. We have high ceilings in our living room and put the tree in an open corner and it brings the room together beautifully...makes it look complete. Now we're talking about ordering a smaller one for another area in our house. I definitely recommend this tree, it is worth every penny.

the quality in replicating a real plant is outstanding, it does look real and it fooled my wife and neighbours; took one star off because: 1. Packing is crap, the plastic pot came broken, not really a big deal since I put it inside a nicer one, but simply should not have happened; and another off because 2. It is tall and is shipped in two 4' sections, one of which locks into the other, however, the metal tube where the upper locks into the lower part is so thin it bent with a mild breeze just 3 days from unpacking it, even though it is inside my parking and not in the open. Had to strengthen and reinforce it with hose clamps, so it is basically the annoyance of having to go to the hardware store and back to repair it.

OMG my tree arrived today though the plastic vase was practically destroyed during the shipping process it is beautiful. This tree is worth every dollar. It is full and the best part is you can arrange the leaves however you like. I would highly recommend this tree to other buyers.

It looks real for sure. And it's massive. But it is so top heavy that it keeps falling over. I had to buy a tall pot for it and fill it with rocks to give it some stability. Also, upon delivery the pot it came in was cracked and two of the fronds were broken. Not that the pot was anything special. It's definitely undersized and cheap. If you get this tree, be prepared to spend some time and money to make it right.
