Nice Bike Bell with Loud Ring and Easy Push
The media could not be loaded. If you are looking for a bike bell that looks nice, good sounding, loud, gets attention, not too bulky, and not tiny, this is a great product. I liked it so much, I bought 3 of them. It blends in nicely with black handlebars and very easy to push/ring with the thumb without having to move your hands off the handlebars. It mounts securely and very easy to install.PROS:- loud- multiple rings with one push- looks nice (blends in with black handlebars)- easy to install- ergonomic thumb push without taking hands off handles- not tiny, but not big/bulkyCONS:- get "phantom" rings when going over bumpy surface (bell will make slight dinging noise on rocky road)- not the most compact (may look big on a kids bike)

Nice and loud
It's a bike bell, nothing magical, but it works well on my bike. Nice and loud, and easy to use with the thumb. Definitely louder than some others.

Good Bell, Poor Fit
Great bell, but doesn't fit standard size handlebars. I was forced to mount it on the handlebar stem where it is harder to access. The bell is nice and loud, though.

Functional and Reasonably priced.
Bought this for my 7 y/o Son's bike since he asked for a bell. I researched a few and after weeding out more expensive models that were only more money for a logo or design, this basic bell stood out. It's not only functional but reasonably priced and does what it says. It goes "ring-ring" at a volume loud enough to be heard by others. That's what bells for bikes are designed to do. His bike is black and red and it goes with the color scheme as an added bonus. He loves it!

Lousy, stupid design
I bought this "Diamondback" bell to mount on a Diamondback bike with Diamondback handlebars, but couldn't do it. Why? It's made for a thinner handlebar than the usual mountain bike handlebars. I tried to use a longer screw--the next size up--but it wouldn't work because the bell is made so that the screw only goes in a little way--so I was left with the bell hanging loosely upside down. I even put a rubber liner inside the mount, but it was still too big to fit when I used the longer screw. My only option now is to try to use a hacksaw to make a longer screw exactly the right length so the stupid thing will fit.I consider such a poorly designed bell to be defective, but I can't return it because first I'll have to pay postage to send it and then I'll have to pay their postage when they sent to me (because I spent more than $35 and got free shipping). In other words, they'll make more money, the Post Office will make more money, and I'll lose more money.I'll just have to accept this for what it is: an idiot tax. I'm glad for the few people this worked for, but the rest of you have to ask yourselves: Do you have the right size handlebar? Do you want to pay the idiot tax?

Small, unobtrusive, with ratchet lever ringer
Small, unobtrusive, has ratchet lever ringer which you can vary intensity instead of spring loaded pinger. You can let people know you coming at further distance rather than "On your left" last minute ...only to have them move to the left a step in front of you! at least you can tell which way they are going to move before you're on top of them ...and another benefit - it's multi-lingual :)

Very nice loud Bell accomodating handlebars up to 7/8 inches
Very nice bell. I have several of these for my bikes. Produces a very loud ring, much louder than the mini-bells that I've also purchased. Construction is sturdy. I've had bikes fall on their bells without any damage. The plastic construction absorbs the impact much better than metal. It mounts on your handle bar using a plastic ring that is tightened with one screw. Because the plastic is flexible, it can accommodate different handlebar sizes. The size of the mount is about 3/4 inch in diameter fully tightened and just over 7/8 inch wide when the screw is partially tightened. You might be able to accommodate larger handlebars if you get a longer screw, but its probably not worth the trouble. On my Dahon folding bike the screw is almost fully tightened. On my Specialized Sierrius, the screw is tightened only partially. I hope this helps all the people who are wondering whether it will fit.

Watch out for size
Doesn't fit any of my kids' 4 bikes. Too bad, great sound and look.
