I keep these handy at home and take them everywhere I go! Any time I have a stomach upset after eating or concern that some food may have been bad, these give me quick relief. Updated review: Jan. 2022. Another reviewer mentioned that this product was recalled due to a cancer-causing agent. I did some Google research and sure enough it was pull off the market and back in at one point. The same reviewer said the package warns you of the possibility of cancer.The recall occurred in 2010 though and pertained to the capsule form of this product. The Health Sciences Authority verifies that in their study. Best to do some research before buying. With all the talk about this product, I’m just hesitant to continue using and buying it.I’ll still keep my same rating because it helped my stomach, but I have stopped buying these pills.This is the only thing that settles my upset stomach. Been taking these for years. It was first passed down from my grandmother to my mother than me. Worth a try.

Usually, when I have a heavy drinking session, I'll get diarrhea the next day. Like, very watery diarrhea for the entire day. I have no experience with Chinese medicines, so I was a bit skeptical about Po Chai's efficacy, but I had a heavy night planned, and I figured I'd order some and give it a whirl. Took a vial before drinking, then another one about two hours later. The next morning, I had normal stools. Later the next day I had diarrhea, but that was my failure for not taking another dose on day 2. So, it at least worked for diarrhea!Something to note: the box smells strongly of patchouli (see ingredient list), and the tiny pills do taste like patchouli. It's not unpleasant; I just wanted to give you a heads-up. I do like the tiny pills! Way easier to take lots of small medicine balls than bigger pills. They kind of make a cool sound in your head when you swallow 'em.Not a fan of the plastic vials for environmental reasons. Maybe they could switch to paper or something? Overall, Po Chai was an interesting and successful experiment for diarrhea management.
