great little pump

I bought this on the info that it pumped 1500 L/Hr. It was to drain my pond. So when it arrived and saw the size of it, I thought ‘aww man this isn’t going to be up to the job’But it did it, slowly, but it did the job, both to drain, which was going into a plastic storage cube up a hill about 6’ high and to fill it, which was much quicker due to gravity on its side. My pond was filled with mud and duckweed and it didn’t clog up once. I tried to ad photos, but wasn’t able to for some reason. Definitely recommend. Pumps the water through both of my pond filters at the same time so must be fairly powerful , competitive pricing, only downside is the cabling is a little too short, I cannot comment on the longevity at the moment but generally pleased with my purchase. Update, this small but powerful pump has been in my 3 x 6 x 18ins deep pond since October 23 on for 24 hours every day & hasn’t missed a beat, only turned off very occasionally for cleaning, such a pity that the lead wasn’t longer but I thoroughly recommend.

So good! I use this for water changes in my 350l tank. This has made my life so easy going water changes on a Sunday weekly!This clears about 120l of water in about 15 minutes. Impressive!!Easy to disassemble too and clean after every use.Part of me is tempted to get a second one and replace my current overtop filter with this little thing! It's definitely more powerful than what I received with my tank and I'd actually go as far as to suggest that it's better quality and a lot less ugly!Definitely worth the buy.

Pumps okay but once snag you cannot turn it down because it don’t work that’s only problem I got no good for Betty Fish

The media could not be loaded. I bought his to replace a failed unit for my Garden water feature. For the size of the pump it’s powerful flow rate (1200 Litres per hour) is at least double the failed unit. You can adjust the flow rate on the end of the pump and I have it on it’s lowest setting to achieve the desired effect. (See photo) If you turn it right up its spectacular! Excellent value for money and recommend for garden water feature, pond, fish tank etc.

At first I thought "Maybe I should have bought a stronger pump?" but then realised that i had the power switched down the wrong way and once I changed this very powerful fountain of water shot everywhere. I have about a 5ft by 3ft size pond ( no idea in litres sorry) but this is powerful enough for that. Have only just started using it so can't comment how long will last but seems to be working well so far. The only improvement could be that this could have a longer cord/lead, but used with an outdoor/waterproof powerpoint/plug spike so okay. The fountain extensions you can buy to go with these poind pumps seem to fit with this pump.
