Purple Rain [DVD] 2 Disk 20th Anniversary Edition

I originally had the dvd years ago, and lost it somewhere years ago. Having now got it again, I'd forgotten what a good film Purple Rain is. Prince is no Marlon Brando, but this was the role he was born for.After all these years the final scene with the performance of "Purple Rain" still brings a tear to the eye. Well worth the purchase, and the bonus disc with the live concert is Prince and the Revolution at their best.

Fantastic DVD and love every second of it.

I didn't really knew too much about Prince before but this movie really helped me to find out many things about him and I really love this movie. It also has a bonus disc which is really interesting!

Great DVD not a to bad a story line but if you are a prince fan, then this is great for his earlier music.

Great fil, great artists, cool extras. This film is (bizarrely) underrated. Surprisingly funny, if a bit washy on plot. Recommended.
