The Last Headphone Cable You'll Buy (Until You Lose It)
As someone who's sent countless headphone cables to the great audio jack in the sky, I've become a reluctant expert in replacement cables. This one's been faithfully connected to my Philips SHP9500S for over 6 months, and honestly, I'm starting to worry it might outlive me.BUILD QUALITY:✓ Slim metal housing that actually fits with phone cases (finally, I can retire my "cable whittling" hobby)✓ Gold connectors - because your music deserves better than gas station tin✓ Professional-grade heat shrink protection (the kind of thing guitar players brag about)✓ Flexible rubber shielding that doesn't try to cosplay as a garden hosePRACTICAL FEATURES:Perfect 4-foot length - unlike those cables that could double as a jump ropeWorks with any standard 3.5mm jack (yes, it's promiscuous)So streamlined it makes those coiled telephone cables look like they're having an identity crisisDURABILITY TEST:Six months of daily abuse, including workouts where I probably looked like a hamster on an espresso binge, and it's still performing like it's day one. No loose connections, no splits, no drama.VALUE:At $8, it costs less than my daily coffee habit and performs better than cables that cost more than my monthly streaming subscription. It's like finding a Ferrari at Honda prices, except it's a headphone cable and I might be getting carried away with analogies.VERDICT:If you're tired of your cable collection looking like a wire graveyard, this one's your ticket to audio nirvana. It's the Toyota Corolla of headphone cables - reliable, practical, and surprisingly well-built for the price. Just try not to lose it (I'm looking at you, person who can never find their phone charger).

Quality and Durable
Nice rubber insulation with Ultra Polished and Durable connectors. Have used about 9 months now for connecting my car audio to my phone so when I get in and out of my car I connect and disconnect. No glitches or noise with these, just solid connections. I don't treat these roughly but have been using them while driving Uber for passenger entertainment. Perfect sound every time and I used to be an Audio Repairman and I must say I am impressed with these from tip to tip and will purchase again if needed.

No problems with this cable
I just recently got a bluetooth speaker (JBL Charge 3) and I wanted to still use my old iPod Classic and other non bluetooth devices with it. I decided to try this particular auxiliary cable by Anker and it's been working out very nicely. I've even used it a few times in the car and it has worked well there too. The 4ft length was plenty long for my needs and the cable appears durable enough. I've had no problems with interference, static, or it loosing stereo due to faulty wiring. The connector ends are designed to minimize interference with cell phone cases and while I primarily want to use this for my iPod, I did try it with my iPhone (and case) and didn't have any problems there. The cable is relatively inexpensive and I was impressed with the quality look and feel of the cable itself. I also appreciate the little velcro tie that was included that assists in keeping the cable rolled up when not being used.

Second time around, much better.
*Update 9/2/15Anker contacted me after my original review. They figured I had a defective cable. Didn't seem like it to me but whatever. They sent me another free of charge and I'm happy to report, it actually does fit better than the first. It still doesn't fit as good as the Skull Candy cable I had laying around for the application I originally wanted it for though. It still comes out of my desktop's front panel connector kinda easy but it fits pretty decently in my phone, headphone amp, and other stuff now. Since it still does fit better overall in various other things, I have a few applications it'll be good for now. Namely, my portable speaker or the speakers on my bed's headboard. It's fitment is now on par with some of the others I already had but where it wins is quality. It has a much nicer look and feel and just seems well made. Also, Anker's quick response and willingness to make things right was fantastic. I'm very impressed with them. They'll definitely be a brand I'll keep my eye out for in other products. Thanks a lot Anker!Original Review:The cable seems to be made well enough but has a slight problem. It works but the diameter of the connector seems to be slightly smaller than it's supposed to be. I bought it to replace the factory cable that came with my Philips SHP9500 headphones that was too long for where I was using them. The problem is, it slips into and out of the ports on the headphones and PC front panel connector (Corsair Obsidian 750D) too easily. The connector just slips right out with no effort. It's the only cable out of all my stuff that does that. The factory Philips cable, the cable on my Sennheiser HD439 headphones, the cable for my Soundblaster E1 headphone amp, all of them stay in just fine. And of course, I tried plugging it into other stuff as well just to be sure. It's too loose in my cell phone (OnePlus One), the previously mentioned headphone amp, headphone extension cord (for other applications), Wii U game pad, and a couple sets of computer speakers' headphone jacks. It did seem to fit ok in my Vita, 3DS, and laptop. I don't use the Philips headphones with them though. I instead have a pair of Sennheiser PX360 headphones for them, and its connector still fits better.Otherwise, it seems to be made somewhat well and it works as long as it stays in. I found the back up cable for a pair of Skullcandy Bluetooth headphones I don't wear anymore, and it fits perfectly so I'm just gonna use it. I might find another use for the Anker maybe where its looseness will be less of an issue.
