Used it on Prius Gen 1 battery
Used it to remove and work on Prius battery. The gloves are nice and thick and I felt well protected from the 300 volts that may potentially come from the battery. These gloves are thick and do not expect a lot of comfort from them. They are not a perfect fit but for me using it only for a few minutes, the price is right. I wore leather gloves over them because I read that it gives you more protection in the event that these rip and exposes skin to electrical current. Others complained of a smell but it did not bother me, yes you can smell the rubber but it is only a tad more than rubber kitchen gloves.

In my experience, not as bad in many senses as other comments are saying
Bought these for a fairly high voltage hobby project I am working on. I could have somehow gotten a less smelly pair, but the gloves don't smell nearly as bad (at least to me) as other commenters are saying. They smell like a rubber inner tube for a bike, or like a car tire, exactly what you would expect to smell from a rubber product, and no stronger of an odor in my case. They are also not as bulky as I have seen comments saying. They certainly aren't delicate, but I would say for comparison, more delicate than a leather glove, and significantly less stiff. I also had no problems fitting the gloves on my hands. They are rather spacious for me, but I wouldn't say I have large hands, so it could be an issue for others. Would be a good idea to use leather gloves over them if you are dealing with anything that might tear them. They are about 2mm thick at the hem, but taper down a little, so I would say they are between 1 and 2 mm thick. Mine arrived undamaged without any little holes or tears. I can't say anything as to what levels of electricity they can actually protect against, use them at your own risk obviously.

Size is (very) small
This seems to be a well made and probably durable product. However I had to return it. In the listing it says the size is "adult." I am an average to maybe slightly above average size male. I prefer a "large" glove size but a "medium" will fit. With this glove there was no way to get my hand past the wrist area and into the glove part. My hand was stretching the glove in wrist area so much that you just couldn't push it through. If you wear a man's small glove or maybe even a medium size this is probably a good product but any larger size hand won't fit.

Sturdy for handling heavy wire
Delivered quickly... as advertised. Not date rated, but very sturdy. Have a slight odor, but that is expected for industrial type gloves like these

Very Sturdy
I haven't used them yet and when I do I'll be using insulated tools (extra insurance). They feel very thick and sturdy. Probably not to the Pro level but I'll only use them a couple of times.

Really good gloves for the purpose
I bought these gloves just as an extra safety measure when working with a generator cut-over panel for my well. Because of the nature of how the electrician had to wire things, there's a small but real possibility that if I did something really stupid, my hand would touch live 220v power. So I keep these 12,000v-rated gloves at the generator changeover location and when I need to run the well on the generator, I use these gloves for extra caution. VERY well made, comfortable, and provide plenty of dexterity
