Great product
Awesome little product. Very sturdy, solid construction, etc More affordable than others out there (i.e. Adventure Trailers design). I use this for my 5lbs propane tank on an overland trailer. The strap definitely needs adjusting to get it just right and the clasp is not necessarily easy to pop open, but I guess that's a good thing. I wish the "T" bolt in the clasp was a 1/2" longer. It would make it a lot easier to pull on to open and close. I wish it also had a clasp that could handle a pad lock. I talked to the manufacture (Power Tank) strap/clasp design with the ability to use a padlock only comes with bigger CO2 tank holders. They should add it to this design. These 5 lbs tanks aren't cheap and too easy to walk off.My strap was a little too tight, pretty much maxed out the adjustability of the strap and not enough "handle" to easily pop the locking mechanism or clasp open (hence I wish the T bolt was 1/2" longer). What I did was cut down the rubber bumpers or stops that rest against the tank. It was easy to pull them out and cut with a razor blade. I took 1/8" - 1/4" off the fat ends (inside end), then put them back in. This allowed the tank to sit a little further back into the bracket and gave me more travel on the strap and clasp....and free'd up some space on the bolt, making it easier to open.As others mentioned, aluminum does comes a little scratched. Not a big deal though.

Works great with the 5# bottle
Installed directly to my truck bed, only used 4 of the six holes available because of space and the bed contours but is solid. Still have full width of the bed between the wheel wells. Nice rubber on the inside of the bands to protect the bottle, and I’m sure to secure the fit.

A bit expensive, but works great
The build quality is good, the design is solid, and this works really well when paired with the appropriate roll bar mounting clamps. One really odd and frustrating issue I encountered was with the roll bar clamps, which use a 4.5mm Allen key, which is a really hard size to find!

Too Expensive For What It IS
Works as intended, great build quality, but the cost is far too high for what it is, heck the propane bottle it carries cost far less. Regardless good quality product.

Yes it’s expensive. Yes it’s worth it.
It’s aircraft grade aluminum so it’s going to be more expensive than a hardened plastic. I got my 8lb Ignik tank for free so I figured I’d transfer those savings to validate this cost.I keep it on the back of my Gladiator attached to a rack. We use the propane for camping. I love I can just latch down the tank, drive to camp site, keep tank there and just screw in hose to my Coleman grill and start cooking.Again, this is expensive. But it’s super worth it.

If you think the band doesn't fit, try this
Like several people in these reviews, I thought the band was too small for the tank. I called customer service, who were extremely responsive. The young man there advised me to remove the rubber stopper and wheel from the bracket band, and put the band on with just barely enough threading sticking out to put the wheel back on. When I did this, I was able to tighten the strap quite a bit onto the propane bottle, and then put the rubber stopper back on. Now, it's got a very tight, very safe grip. I am happy with the quality of the bracket itself and especially happy with customer service. My only issue is that I'm posting this info instead of the bracket coming with instructions.

Power Tank Bracket
The powertank bracket is definitely worth the money we use it to mount our 5lb Propane tank to the back of our Jeep for overlanding and works great I've been on all kinds of trails and off roading and has never once broke cracked for vibrated loose. I would highly recommend the bracket.
