These cables work perfectly
I started to buy a cheaper-priced copy of the Shure WA310 cable but opted for the name brand. We used them to connect a Shure body pack to an EKG microphone. The microphone can use a 9-volt battery or phantom power. Using the body pack meant using the battery. The combination worked perfectly. Instead of using cables for two mics, this setup gave me complete mobility which was great for the Kid's choir presentation. Once the kids were finished the mics and stands were picked up and moved to the side.Using wireless mics for presentations means we can use any space we want without having cables on the floor creating trip hazards. We also don't have to steal the adult choir mics that we use at our normal services. Another plus is using this setup for productions or for adding more mics to the combined choirs that spread out wider than the normal choir space.Yes, I would buy these again.

Well made and works as advertised
I needed to shoot a wedding in a setting where there was no existing sound system to tap into, I couldn't use lapel microphones, and so needed a hyper-cardioid microphone hidden in the flowered arch to pick up the voices. I couldn't run cables from the mic to the camera so I decided to find an XLR to TA4F adapter to attach my Sure transmitter to the mic. This cable was impossible to find around town so I had to take a chance and order one sight unseen from Amazon. Much to my satisfaction, it arrived quickly. It is well made, and worked perfectly. The wedding shoot was a success.

just in case...
sometimes, you need a backup for your wireless microphone so you can plug in a wired one. This allows you to your favorite mic and plug in the xlr connection to a wireless setup. Just in case...

Excellent for wireless speaker placement...
i purchased these Shure Mini Qg/Xlr Cable to use with my Shure wireless lavalier mic pack. i wanted to place my powered speaker in the corner of a room and my laptop/cd players in a different area. One end of cable went to mic pack, the other end connected to the XLR output of my mixer. the receiver then was connected to my powered speaker. some minor adjustments had to be made for gain. once it was done, BAM!! i had sound coming out of the wireless speaker that was in the corner. NICE!!! the setup looked great (no messy cables everywhere) and sounded great too!

like a gem
The cable worked as expected... like a gem. But what is really impressive was the delivery. I ordered this cable last minute in the evening. I drove from San Diego towards Beverly Hills the next morning, I had these cables scheduled to deliver to an Amazon locker not far from the venue I was scheduled to work and as I was about to exit the freeway I received the notification that the cable had been delivered... simply added a stop to my google map drive and bam I had the cables in my hands with only a 3 minute detour. Service second to none. Thanks Amazon!

Works, but adds noise
As a videographer specializing in live events, I occasionally need to supply wireless mics to get what is needed for the recording. Most of the time, a lavaliere mic is the right choice, but every so often, a handheld is a better choice.Rather than spend another $350 on a wireless handheld mic, I decided to try this cable with a standard Shure SM58. The combination works, but the final recording has more hiss than when using the same mic plugged directly into the recorder.Just to verify whether the noise was coming from the cable or the wireless system, I ran a number of tests, using different mics, including the lavaliere that came with the wireless set through a different adapter which allowed me to test it separately from the wireless transmitter / receiver combo. The result of all this testing showed that the transmitter / receiver combo does add a bit of hiss, but the new cable adds a lot more.Overall, for $17, it's a good thing to have around, but it wouldn't be my first choice.

Trusted quality ... solid construction
There's not much to say about something as simple as this, but the fact is, when you have something as simple, it either works, or it doesn't work. While there may be other adapters out there, including some that may cost less, I don't like taking chances. Stick with a name you can trust. Shure delivers with consistent quality you can trust, so I know it will not only work now, but whenever I need it.
