Very elegant looking is this set. One thing that I have noticed is that Great American Classics (GAC) offers consumers affordable and elegant options when it comes to home décor. Such as this tempered glass scalloped set of two dessert plates and one large sized platter.The plates are sturdy and have a lovely scalloped detail with a matte gold border and an etched design in the center. The edges of the plates and platter are smooth and safe. While the tempered glass is good for resisting breakage. The only downside to that is that that tempered glass does tend to scratch easily. So, even though they clean easily, I take care when washing by hand. By making sure that I use a soft scratch resistant sponge and drying them with a lint free cloth towel.Overall, this set is elegant and fairly priced.

These serving plates are lovely! The organic line of the scalloped edges are elegant, the heft of the platter and the two smaller side plates is excellent. It isn't too think that you worry about breakage, but not so thick that it takes away from the fine dining vibe that it has. The gold trim along the edges is well stamped, although I recommend hand washing so as to avoid potential heat damage. Overall it's a really pretty set. Do consider this if it is something that fits your aesthetic. They are beautiful, well-made pieces.

These scalloped plates are perfect serving trays. They are heat safe up to 350° and dishwasher safe and I think even microwave safe. Personally, I think they just look pretty and would make nice serving trays to put out an appetizer or dessert on. It’s nice that you have one bigger one and two smaller ones so you could do a little variety of appetizers or a couple different desserts.

they are very attractive plates, it took a long time to get both sets of 4 and I had to ask a couple of times. That worried me. However the plates are great

This looks great and way more expensive. It has medium weight to it and thick glass. This would make a great gift too and elevates food presentation.

Beautiful serving platters. The scalloped edges are also raised creating a cupped look. The frosted designs are a nice touch. The serving platter is larger than expected and a generous size for serving appetizers or whole cakes or pies. These are a light to medium weight with no food on them. The stickers on each plate list out the recommended care instructions. Unfortunately, one of the dessert plates had a scratch on it which made me wonder if this set had been previously opened.
