Perfect vegan jerky! Tastes delicious, good chew, and texture would likely fool the hard-core carnivore! Even my husband liked them! I bought these for a trip and they travel perfectly in your luggage or handbag! I love that they are individually wrapped so you don’t have to worry about refrigeration! Will try the other flavors, as well. I had previously tried a different brand, and they were too spicy to even enjoy eating them. These are very nice and really enjoyable! Only negative: I should mention that they do leave you with a bit of bad breath every time I’ve eaten them. Not sure why particularly, but I try to chew gum afterwards! Yikes!

I bought this awhile ago. These were absolutely delicious, the flavors and texture was great! I recommend to any vegetarian out there. You will not regret it. I ate the entire box in a week time period. 😍

Great source of vegetarian protien

I love these. I’ve been a vegetarian for 21 years and I still miss jerky.My meat eating friends wouldn’t say they are the same, but for someone who doesn’t eat meat (but 2 decades later still craves it) they do the trick when I’m wanting some chewy jerky- and I think the flavor is amazing. The only one that had a weird taste is the Teriyaki. But the BBQ and hickory smoked are really good.They aren’t dry though, they’re very moist so it’s not like the dehydrated stuff, just fyi.I would suggest you try it. They arent cheap just like every other faux meat, but cheaper than others I’ve seen. My health food store has had them in a stock for years, which is where I originally found them!

This is a surprisingly good product. The taste is very much like conventional jerky, and the texture has a meat-like chewiness to it. Overall, I enjoy it. I have two negative comments, though. First, I don’t like to consume a lot of sugar and don’t see why the manufacturer needs to use so much, or any, in this jerky. Secondly, the texture is not quite as the pictures would suggest. The photos in the description make it look very much like typical beef jerky. In reality, though, this vegan jerky is rather slimy and amorphous. I’m assuming that is necessitated by characteristics of the soy base, but it does make it a bit too messy and fragile to hold in your hand while eating it, as one would with a piece of regular beef jerky. if the product could be made a bit drier and more firm, it would be an outstanding alternative to meat-based jerky.

I've tried many, many vegan jerkies and this brand and these particular flavors are my favorite. I wish they could bring down the price a little but they're worth it. Rich flavor and chewy but slightly moist texture. Just like "real" jerky but you're not eating the muscles of some poor animal.

I’ve been snacking on these since 2006 when I became a vegan and I keep it a point to keep them stocked in my Crashpad. I’m a flight attendant and these stash so easily in my lunch bag when I leave for long trips. They’re delicious and a much healthier option to what’s available to me in airline snacks. After a 16hr workday, I finally get to my overnight hotel and snack on one of these after my shower and before bed. For weight purposes I don’t like eating big full meals right before bed and these satisfy and temper my hunger enough to allow me to sleep well and survive until breakfast time.
