Tamarind paste is really good. Convenient for cooking recipes and has a nice smell to it. Also is worth the money because you can just eat it which is easier than buying tamarind's whole to eat.

Excellent Quality taste/ Dumb packaging: Box doesn’t say Tamarind, says “Cooking Paste”
Super dumb packaging, so I thought I received the wrong item and was afraid to open it as I wanted to be able to return it. Even one of the stickers on the plastic packaging says “Rani Organics Indian Chutney”. I eventually ended up seeing their small sticker that read “ATTENTION this is Tamarind paste as you ordered…” So, yeah they know their packaging is dumb. However, the product is crazy delicious so all is forgiven.

Chemical taste
I’m used to eating tamarind chutney with East Indian food and I’m Trinidadian so I grew up with it. My usual was out so I figured I’d try this. I took a taste with a half teaspoon excited to eat some doubles but this was awful. It tastes like cough medicine. Incredibly strong chemical taste. I wish I could return it but would gladly throw this out in the trash instead of consuming more. Hard pass

Versatile and tasty
This tamarind paste has that citrusy sweet flavor I look for in preparing South Asian dishes. My principal use of it, though, is in making a vinaigrette/nuoc mam/olive oil/tamarind coleslaw! Yum!

Un empacado extremo para no romperse, perfecto para mi, calidad en el producto, es pulpa de tamarindo, si, es fuerte, esa es la idea que sea puro y de la calidad, lo seguiré adquiriendo lo considero excelente producto y con nutrientes significativos, como desentoxicantes del cuerpo, protector de la glándula pineal y mucho más, y el gusto es agradable para mi paladar, delicioso para incluir en mis hongos, vegetales, frijoles, etc, se puede sustituír por el tomate, este es más saludable. Sugerido 111% para aquellos que estén interesados en hacer cambios positivos. Gracias Rani

Good quality tamarind but…
It’s good quality (tastes authentic, no seed pieces, etc) but the company randomly raised the price by $5!! I bought it a couple weeks ago for $14.99. Same seller
