Completes the Palm - perfect accessory.
First a few notes. It was almost completely discharged when it arrived. It seems picky about precisely where you have to put it on a wireless charging pad. Most charging pads are smooth and slippery and the case won't stay on unless held if in a car or other place. It can turn on or off but you need to press the button for 5 seconds to toggle and there is no indication. The charging lights are on the bottom where you can't see them on a charging pad (summoning fiber optic fu). The fit is tight which is really good until you try to remove the Palm - it almost needs an eject button. That said, it isn't that much thicker, reminding me of my favorite old candybar phone that I added an extended battery. This is much cheaper than a Palm, and I'd rather abuse the Mophie battery than the palm as I can swap the Mophie instead of trying to get the Palm's battery replaced. The wireless charging is also a key feature. It's nice to just place it down in a tray and have it charge. No fiddling with wires. But see above - is the Mophie charged or not?Still, it is thin enough for my shirt pocket or similar place, the wireless charging makes it easy, and it extends the battery so I don't have to worry.

Fantastic battery pack!
This is an excellent add on to the Palm phone, a must have really! The pack is very well made, matt in finish and fits perfectly. Contrary to some reviews, it does charge the phone whilst in use. Short press the button on the back for battery level, long press to start charging the phone.Added bonus: it's a lot easier to hold!Update: died after 3 months! Doesn't accept a charge!

Not "new."
My case arrived scratched and not fully packaged in its original box. There's some kind of gunky stain in the "p" of the Mophie logo, too. Having paid $40+ for this case "new," I'd expect better. I haven't used it yet, but I'm underwhelmed. After seven months of use, I agree that it's very helpful in extending battery life, but it stopped working this week and won't accept a charge anymore. Not worth the investment.

Great Case, with few drawbacks
For starters, the battery life of the Palm Phone is pretty atrocious, so getting a way to be able to boost the battery life without having to plug into a wall is a huge need for this phone and this case meets that need.I really wish the battery in the case had a higher capacity, it's got almost enough juice to charge the phone a single time. Also, it would be really nice to be able to use USB C headphones with the case on, but I'm not too heart broken about that.I was also pleasantly surprised to find out that when I plugged the phone with the case on into my car, it is android auto/apple car play compatible through the port on the case.Overall, it is a great case, but could use a bigger battery.

Unit failed after about a year.
Ordered one of these packs for a PVG100 March of '23. Worked well for what my purchase intent was. the slightly extended battery life was nice, but the real feature I was interested in was the integrated wireless charging capability the case brought to the Palm. Worked great for that. All in all, been very satisfied with the unit for the past year.Fast forward to January '24, I go to top off the pack and got four simultaneously flashing lights. I reached out to Zagg (Mophie's parent company) and they confirmed that this meant there was a fault in the pack and it wasn't repairable. And that was that. No further contact. I had mentioned in the email that their system didn't support the selection of the Palm units for warranty claims, and that seems to be the case that there isn't really end user support if you pack faults out for these. While I'll miss the convenience the pack brought to the Palm, I think this time I'll just opt for a much higher capacity (and cost effective) battery pack and call it a day.So, take this review for what it's worth. In my case study of exactly one unit, it worked excellent and without fuss right up until the morning it gave up the ghost for no apparent reason; even if it is a bit steep of a price for 900mAh of power. And when it dies (and it will - likely sooner than later as you'll be constantly discharging and recharging these tiny batteries) expect to pay the premium again to replace it, opt for an alternative, or go ahead and void that "warranty" if you have the skills and tools and rebuild the unit. Your mileage may vary.

doubles the phone time
Simple to attach and doubles the battery time. I imagined it would be longer because of the thickness of the case versus the phone, all that room for just a battery, should triple battery time atleast. However, wireless charging works and the case makes it easier to hold with no hands while talking and protects the phone from a fall.

Extends battery life but kills reception
It does a great job of extending the battery life, but it does it at the expense of cell reception. Considering I live in the boonies in a house with a tin roof, it makes my phone unusable. Such a shame, because it's otherwise a good product.

Feel the power!
This is a great case and doesn't add much size to what I think is the perfect-sized phone. It bulks it up enough to fit in my hand without being uncomfortable. I've never run out of battery with the ability to charge from this, and it's simple to use.A couple things to note though:1) Since the Palm doesn't have an audio jack you need to use a converter if you want to use wired headphones or the aux port in your car. However, I've tried a couple different adapters and none will communicate through the case.2) The wireless charging pad I already owned (a Samsung) isn't compatible with the Mophie power pack. Not a deal breaker, just an annoyance.I would still buy this again if given the option - it provides a much needed service to this paired down phone!
