I'm 5'7", 130lbs. Med fits perfect. I think large would be too big for you!

Q: does it have boot covers? or do I have to buy shoes separate?

It does not come with boots or boot covers. I wore a charcoal gray ankle boot with a very pointy toe and heel

It zips up the back so you step into it .
