GSP0931134 Battery Replacement for JBL Xtreme JBL GSP0931134 (5000mAh Li-Polymer)

So here is the deal, I am a very handy fella. Remember that nerdy kid in the neighborhood that wanted to take apart anything that had a screw in it? Yup, I was that little monster. So when the option to replace the ailing original battery in my perfectly functional JBL XTREME popped up, I was all in and then some! The battery arrived in surprisingly good time in spite of the ground only restriction because you know, LION doesn't fly well and so on. Anyway, after having this sucker in the speaker for a few week, I am impressed. It works possibly better than the original, which is saying something because the original did a great job, until it didn't. So 5 stars for initial quality and battery life.We're going 2 stars for ease of install. Now in fairness, this is not the battery's fault. JBL builds a great speaker but I am damn near certain, they never wanted folks to replace the battery! Remember how I mentioned I am handy in the paragraph above? Yeah, this thing is a bear to swap. It is worth it though! But be ready to remove no fewer than 20 some odd screws and pry off the grill cover and on and on. Much of it is not intuitive and there are no instructions on how to install so off to YouTube and thankfully, there are numerous instructional videos. Once we worked through that little dilemma, the swap went just fine!I am only a few weeks in so I am going neutral on longevity. I have a feeling this will last a few years but we'll have to wait and see!

Great replacement battery, came partially charged and fit right away. Does NOT have the amperage problem when the volume gets too high.

Installation is very easy. It takes 10 screws and 10 minutes. Two Phillips head and a flat prying tool (a flat screwdriver or guitar pick works)Battery life renewed. Performs great and holds a charge again.

Lo bueno es que es compatible con la bocina jbl xtreme (1). Funciona bien, pero solo trabaja por 4 horas. pero por el precio, todo bien. sería bueno mejorar la capacidad de carga de la bateria.

We’ve had the speakers since 2016, the speaker only worked while being plugged in with the extension cord. Once you unplugged it, it did not. Turned out to be that it was the battery, it was swollen. I ordered this battery, perfect match! Now my 2016 speaker works like if it’s a new one! Ready to party this weekend

I am not a handy person at all, but I was able to follow a YouTube tutorial and installed this battery with minimal issues. Just be careful to not drop a screw inside the speaker and get it stuck the the magnet! Battery life is WAY better than the old, factory battery that came with my JBL Extreme.
