Lebre Thick Barbecue Sea Rock Salt Sal Grosso para Churrasco - Lebre - 32.27 Ounce

I waited a good while (maybe 2-3 weeks) for my order but I was happy when it arrived. It doesn't look like it's a lot when you open the package but it's powerful. These are really large grains of salt. It works great on larger cuts of meat. I've tried it on steaks, beef ribs and brisket. I think it's too much for smaller items like burgers, ribs and chicken. A finer grain would probably work better for those foods. I would definitely buy this item again.

Product came exactly as described, and well packaged. No moisture seen in it at all, so the granules are loose and just as one would hope, perfect for your churrasco.

Shipping takes a bit of time (afer you're spoiled by Prime) so plan ahead two weeks or so, but otherwise it seems just like true "sal grosso" that you are used to in Brazil that can be hard to find in smaller towns in the US and it's a reasonable price.

I'm giving this product four stars, because:1. It took a long time to arrive - longer than what was initially estimated, to the point I thought I was going to have to ask for a refund.2. I was hoping for rock salt for our grinder, but what arrived looks more like sea salt or kosher salt.

Lasts a long time. My brazilian buddy swears by this salt to make authentic brazilian bbq. I use it for all sorts of grilling and seasoning. I use it often and still have around 1/3 left, package is a large size
