Works.
Had a weird malfunction and broke one of the hard plastic end caps which holds the bowstring in place, so I ordered this new limb set. It arrived quickly.

well worth the wait
Took about 6 days longer to arrive than guestimated up front but arrived in good order and I'll definitely be ordering another soon.

Amazing!
I upgraded my Cobra R9 with this limb and I couldn’t be happier. Plenty of power and a great price. I highly recommend this to anyone with the 90 lbs. R9.

Much added power to the r9 crossbow.
Much added power to the r9 crossbow. Much louder though than the original 90lb limb.

Sloppy manufacturer specs, new prod has wiggle room OEM does not
I love the increase in power which allows me to shoot the less expensive 15" bolts for the Cold Steel Cheap Shot. However I found keeping sights zeroed in acting strangely. Sure enough I looked at the limb mounting today. It has noticeable play when seated.Just put back the OEM & fits snug as it should. I am overall disappointed in total of 3 products from EA Archery & sloppy quality control or just poor manufacturing overall. Two replacement strings for my PSE SS Viper with Center Servings anything but centered. Now the $99 plus shipping 130 Prod / Limb very poor tolerance when mounted.Overall I would advise anyone to just start with the Cheap Shot 130 from Cold Steel I am not a company shill just a really bummed out consumer. If anyone has a good source for replacement strings OEM for Cobra or Ravin R9 or CheepShot Cold Steel it would be much appreciated!I cannot recommend anything from this vendor as a quick buck seems to matter much more than quality products. Such a bummer as I have now purchased 3 crossbows, & unless deciding to become a hunter would be thrilled w / the R9 or similar from anyone that sells this identical model crossbow. It really is such a disappointment to spend so much on bolts anticipating accuracy and the ability to add broad-heads for this nice bow. The 9" bolts don't allow changing tips or nocks. So know that aside from making your own reside to buying really pricey smaller bolts which I tend to bury into my target at 20 yds using the 90lb limb.Or as I mentioned in another review if you have any tendency to really shoot with some regularity just get a lower end brand name crossbow, like a cheaper Excaliber for $500 or less. Your experience will be over the life of the weapon much better. Standard 3 vane bolts with normal size diameters.Seems like I will have to resolve with some kind of a hack so the limb isn't wobbly in position. These seemingly are a new upgrade with I think a single review when I purchased mine.Update: I solved the horrible fitting prod using a piece of a credit card, which brought me to the mounting job done at the factory again. It seems that they have nicely molded plastic holders but did not bother to use ANY rubber strips to aid in decrease of the wobble. So I have a better fitting prod but still a wobble that will certainly throw my zeroed scopes off.I will attempt a repair to that later hoping to gain much needed stability. I did tighten the screw that holds the prod in place which helps a bit. But again to compare to the OEM it's a horribly manufactured and assembled aftermarket prod assembly. Also prior to purchasing any of the identical crossbows Cobra R9, Cold Steel Cheap Shot 130 or newer to market and much less than the ones mentioned Bruin R9 Sniper, do some research for string replacements, they seem to be difficult to find at least for me...The positive side it would seem the string dampeners are quite useful & a nice touch, but I would trade i a heartbeat for the Cold Steel Cheap Shot if their 130lb prod fits properly. I assume built elsewhere as they do not have string dampeners. I can't find replacement prod for the Cheap Shot either, must be that they expect prod and strings to last forever. With the design of the string retention claw being similar to many other cheap crossbows it is only sheet metal stamped though seems to have better polish than my other bows I have tried to date. I have learned to lube that part and seems to wear center serving a lot less. I have about 120 + bolts shot so far & at least that seems better than many crossbows I have tried, returned or kept. There is no way I can see to not lay down the bow without leaning on one side of the prod as such it seems unless adding rubber will be an issue ongoing. The only thing keeping me from returning it is the 24 bolts I have purchased for it. I cannot return my original R9 past the date a while back.I am so disappointed as I really thought once I had the increased draw weight I could use broad heads of my choosing now I may end up with just relegating it to practice and requiring zero in my sights all the time. I will hopefully test shoot tonight after rest of sights, to see if I can stay anywhere close to zeroed in for a period of at least a couple days.
