High quality, high strength. Did the job.
I replaced all my medicine cabinets last year. Several days ago an original, cheap, plastic shelf peg broke and sent all my wife's fingernail polish onto the new vanity counter top. Needless to say, it was a mess.I looked at all the replacement pegs available on Amazon in the 5mm size and got a box of 25. This product is a quality, strong support for this use. They fit right in and shelf went right back on without any hassle.Great product, great price, and the vendor did a followup email to make sure they were working for me. Hard to find that kind of service these days. Highly recommended.

I would highly recommend this product.
I had to replace my kitchen cabinet shelf clips after a shelf collapsed. The originals were made out of plastic. They sheared off at the pin and dumped the shelf down to the next shelf. I didn't want to replace them with more plastic so I thought that I would give these metal ones a try. I have installed them and replaced the shelf and they seem to be holding just fine. I store heavy items on that shelf like food processors and blenders etc. I have yet to do it, but I will go through the rest of the cabinet shelves to see which have a heavy load and replace the plastic with these. I like the solid construction of these clips and may eventually replace all the plastic with these.

Strong & looks good
Kitchen cabinet shelves hold a lot of weight. Our cabinets are 24 years old and the plastic shelf clips are a worry. These replacement clips are well built, fits well and have a steel peg that won't ever fail.

Works just like I expected
Works just like I expected. Some were tight in the holes and some were loose. Not sure if it was a discrepancy in the holes I drilled or in the pegs.

Perfect replacement
My book shelf had been missing a few of these for a while so a couple of the shelf’s wobbled but since I got these it’s been way better and they were exactly the right size.

Quality, sturdy, easy
I needed to replace some of the plastic pieces in my medicine cabinet. I wasn’t really sure which ones to get or if these would even work, but they did! When I put these in to replace the missing ones, I was shocked at the quality difference. The old ones were clearly very cheap. These seem e trembly sturdy and waaaay heavier. I am very pleased, I will likely be replacing all of the little plastic bracket pieces in my whole house!

Make your hole .193 in dia.
The product looks great and the quality is as advertised. My complaint is the 5mm dis. of the shaft not being true to size. The brackets I received measured .192 in dia. not (5 mm) .197, my hole was .199. so the fit is a little sloppy.

And the winner of the most well-described shelf peg goes to...
Dugan Hardware Systems! Thanks to the detailed and accurate description of this item, I was able to make an informed purchase and guess on the exact right bracket for what was missing from a shelf after the original pegs got lost during a move. I like a seller who understands you are shopping online and can't touch their item [insert Beavis and Butt-Head laugh here].They come in a box that is both [1] a great way to store unused pegs so as not to lose them, and [2] recyclable if you are done with it. In case you are wondering, 5mm is a pretty standard size for many prefab book shelves and media towers. I could go on all day about how great these pegs are, but we both have better things to do. They are of course overpriced, but the moral of that story is: don't lose your original pegs!
