Great color, a dark blue very close to the picture. Fine 3-ply yarn. I am holding this together with some wool I spun, and it is working well. Not splitting. I wish they would mark the end to pull, but that is a gripe with nearly every brand of yarn.This would make good embroidery floss also. Silky and smooth, feels a lot like DMC floss.The form asks about beginners and sheerness. That's a weird thing to ask about yarn. I don't want to down-vote it because it is a great yarn. But what you make is as sheer as you decide, and tiny thin yarn is used for things like lace or socks, and neither of those are beginning knitting projects, regardless of yarn brand.After reading other reviews I have to shake my head. Yes, it's really gloriously thin, exactly as advertised. If you are unsure about thickness, look at the number of yards/meters for 50g. This is 280m/306yds for 50g, that is going to be tiny. Lace-weight yarn is not appropriate for making a cardigan or blanket or amigurumi. It is fabulous for combining with another yarn for socks or a lace project. For super intricate lace, you might just use 1 strand of this however I doubt cotton/bamboo would block successfully and hold its shape. Again, choosing the correct fiber and preparation is critical for a successful project.

I was looking for a very fine weight yarn with some cotten content for knitting summer socks. Boy is this a beauty! I cannot describe how incredibly soft this very fine yarn feels when swatched up. Not stiff like cotten thread like I expected. It's just what I was looking for! My stockinette swatch was knit on size 1 needles at the top size 00 in the middle and size 2 at the bottom (which was much too big for the yarn.) Then I tested a k2 p2 rib at the bottom in size 1 needles because I liked the way the size 1 worked up the best. I saw that the biggest complaint about this yarn was that it was too thin for projects but it specifically said this works best on 000 -1 needles. I don't know what folks were expecting. Those complaints were part of why I bought it. I did have some issues with it coming un-plied when knitting but it was fairly minimal and I suspect has to do with the fiber content. All in all I'm very pleased with the product and look forward to buying it and more colors!

It is a very thin yarn (as it says in the description). I made a Prayer Shawl and had to be very careful not to knit 2 stitches together. It is so soft and pretty, it was worth the extra patience.

The color and texture were beautiful, but there are a lot of breaks in each ball where the yarn was tied back together. Ofc this happens time to time, but it was in every ball at least 2-3 times. Not ideal when making something like socks or with a small hook because it will show so much.

I bought two packs of 4 skeins. So, there were 8 skeins and not a single one of them was decent, I mean, made of a single thread. NOT ONLY ONE! They were all made of several short yarns tied together to make one skein, and the worst ones had knots in them every few yards. They are terribly bad quality. I can not use them. As you know we can not tell the inside of the skein until we use it. I feel like I was deceived.

Not the thickness listed, really really fine which is a bummer because I bought it for a project I can no longer use it for and with the shipping time of two+ weeks I don't have time to order something different. Beautiful color seems to be really soft material but also appears to have threads that pull apart.

The thickness is threadlike but it's incredible soft and when doubled with another color was very easy to work with.
