It DEFINITELY has a fragrance
Swapped from Nizoral to this. It works great but "fragrance free" is a lie. It's somewhere between paste and an inflatable pool toy. Still, it really isn't that bad smelling and the benefit on my skin is beyond worth it.

Smells Horrible! Works Great
I will write out what my opinions on the good and bad.The bad, first:This shampoo is expensive.. and you have to use a good bit because it doesn’t lather that good. And wow! The smell is terrible to me; it smells like a chemical. So if I use it in the shower, I’ll wash my hair first, THEN my body because I don’t want to smell like this shampoo. Now on to the good:I will say it works extremely well for folliculitis.. it got rid of most all the scabs and bumps on my scalp, so I’m suffering a lot less than I was before. In my opinion, it works better than the clindamycin topical that I was prescribed. I’ve used it 3 times in the past 2 weeks and I’ve only got 1 bump on my scalp that I can feel.. which is a vast improvement to where I was.Final thoughts:If you have folliculitis and you are tired of the bumps on your scalp, then deal with the smell 1-3 times per week. This shampoo does what it’s supposed to do.

Not getting rid of my breakouts.
I've had scalp acne like skin for 15 yrs. I tell myself this works but after about 2 years using it. I still have full blown break outs of bumps n acne like bumps monthly and weekly. I've tried tree oil. Tree oil shampoos and , it seems like heavy sauna sessions and gym sweating seems to work best to minimize breakouts but if I slack it comes back strong and this shampoo really doesn't help prevent my breakouts. Even if I'm religiously in sauna and gym I break out but not as aggressively. I use this every 2-3 days and I think I can give up at this point . I tried not eating chocolate, and no sugar those don't make a difference either. I like to think this works just to make myself feel better.

For the price? I hope it works for you?
Was told it would be good for a dry scalp by a dermatologist. It's unreasonably expensive, it's got a strange smell and texture? I use it for a couple of weeks and didn't seem to help? I was also suppose to keep it on for five minutes at at time. Lost interest when I didn't see any results?

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!
I have had scalp folliculitis for a while now but it recently has gotten worse. I decided to try this out after doing some research and reading some good reviews on it. For starters, the bottle was way smaller than I expected. The smell of the shampoo is horrid, it smells like strong chemicals and I was hesitant on putting it on my scalp/hair. After lathering it and putting it through my hair like instructed, I noticed my hair started coming out little by little. The smell is honestly unbearable, It smelt like something was burning. The shampoo didn’t burn my scalp but it smelt like it was. It was very concerning to see how much hair was just coming out after rinsing it out. I noticed after my hair was drying that the top of scalp started getting extremely dry and flacking, it looked extremely irritated. After my hair was fully dry, my hair got extremely frizzy and dry. I was planning on using it a second time to see if the issues happen again but I decided not to after the smell of the shampoo started to linger on my hair for days. The smell even stuck to my pillows and bed sheets. I’ve washed my hair and everything and that awful smell is still there. The fact that I used this shampoo ONCE and my hair already started to fall out, scalp got extremely irritated and the horrible smell that won’t go away… I definitely had no choice but return this right back to amazon. I personally would not recommend. I thought I’d be saving money by just buying products on amazon to try to solve my issues but I’d rather just see a doctor and get prescribed with something that will actually help. Would recommend skipping on this and seeing a dermatologist to hear their opinion.
