Tuffy's Nutrisource Chicken and Rice Formula Breed Dry Adult Food 30 lb Bag - Single Pack

Recommended by the excellent & caring AKC breeder from whom we got our most recent Aussie (our other 2 are rescues). We feed all 3 this product and soon noticed our rescues who had been kept alone in a field for 1 and 2 years began to get much healthier coats. All are doing great with the food & are sleek and active. (As an owner of many dogs over the years, all loved, I have found our 3 Aussies, my first, are remarkably intelligent, have learned words, sentences, and gestures that continually amaze me (their vocabulary increases daily). An expressive, gentle & responsive super-breed. The female who was alone for 2 years & afraid to come into our home at first has noticeably calmed, now obeys simple commands & sleeps on the bed with us (—a comment on the breed, not the food). An aside: the 2 rescues who lived alone for so long groom one-another like cats and use one-another for pillows.

Best.... our finicky eater, easily queasy Aussie eats this food well and has no tummy upset. She's 12 and we spent the first 5 years looking for a food that works for her.Our other Aussie will eat anything as rapidly as possible. She eats this with enthusiasm and looks healthier.. shinier coat and less extra weight gain.The only drawback is that the only place we've found to buy this reliably is Petfood Express. Petfood Express is a great store with quality products a a terrific staff. I'd shop there anyway. They are not everywhere, however.Thanks to Amazon for partnering with them and making this available online and delivered.

We transitioned our dog from the grain free chicken and rice to this food mainly because of the price. The Nutrisource dog food is quality dog food, so switching him was no big deal. He is a 2 1/2 year old mini daschund and although he was not happy at first about the switch, he is fine now and happy. I am happy because of the difference in price. Take out grain and double the price. That was not a good option for us, we wanted to stay with the same company so we switched formula.

We have three very picky eaters. All three LOVE this food. Makes their coats so shiny. Definitely recommend trying it out!

My dog loves this food. Gives him a great coat. Although I can get it cheaper at my local store.

I learned about this dog food when we went our field bred golden retriever to a hunting dog trainer. He said they feed this food, so before we sent our dog to him for 2 months, I switched her to this food. She loves it. Her coat is soft and shiny and (remember, she is a golden retriever) we see very little shedding. We have brushed her with several different brushes and very little hair comes out. Not sure if it's the food or if she just had an efficient transition to her summer coat. She has healthy poops and is always eager to get her food. It's worth every Penny!

After doing some research regarding premium dog food several years ago, I chose to try Nutrisource from kln brands for my Westie puppy. I based this decision on the company being a family owned American company with a history of never having a recall. All ingredients are U.S. sourced. I have now used this brand for both of my westies for the last 5 years. They both love the food and have had no allergy issues. Westies are prone to bing picky eaters and having food allergy issues, so I think the results speak for themselves.

When I started my pitty on this food her itchy skin problem disappeared. I’m thinking she was allergic to something in her food. I keep her on this brand of dog food now.
