長年メリタ（カリタではない）で毎朝必ず珈琲をおとして飲む生活ですが前からこのコーヒーメーカーが気になっててタイムセールで２０００円ちょっとで出てたんでついに買ってみました。結論から言うと私は駄目ですね。理由は３つです。１つ目は期待してたほどの美味しさでなかった。２つ目は飲んでる最中にカップの底にコーヒーの粉というか濃い部分が溜まってしまい、これじゃ何口か飲むたびにスプーンで混ぜないと味は薄くなるのか・・？最後は使用後にコーヒーメーカーの中に残った粉の始末。ザーっと流してしまうと排水溝のバスケットにほとんど残る。かといってあの細かい粉の残骸をどうするか、長い柄のスプーンでかきとっても少しは残るし、そもそもメリタやカリタでおとすと紙のフィルターごとポイっと３秒ですむ話。それがスプーンでおおかたをかきとり残りを水で流しバスケットに残るわとなるとテンションがた落ち。それでも味が格段に美味しいなら我慢できるかもしれないですがむしろメリタの方が好みときた。洗って箱にしまい納戸へ。余談ですがペーパーですがカリタはご存じかと思いますがメリタもあるんですよ。違いは穴の数。カリタは穴3個。メリタは穴1個。最初ずっとカリタしか知らなくてカリタばかり長～い間使用しててある時ネットでメリタを知り穴の数で何違うのかと思い調べたらカリタは2～3回に分けてお湯そそぐことが多いけどメリタは穴1個なのでゆっくりおとすから最初からお湯をそそぐのは1回だけでよくそそぎ続けてお湯がなくなったら終わるまで放置して待ってるだけでいいとなっていてユーチューブでもやってたので面倒くさがりの私としてはカリタで３回にわけてお湯そそぐよりメリタで１回そそいで終わりというのに魅かれそれ以来ずっとメリタです。たいした変わらないと思うかもしれませんが朝パン焼いたり卵など調理しながらコーヒーをおとす作業を同時進行する際３回位にわけてお湯そそぐのと１回そそぎで終わるとは中々の差です。(私的には）

I love this 3 cup cafetière! Perfect for one standard mug of coffee, so no waste when flying solo and having coffee for one. Excellent quality, parts are very easy to clean. Would definitely recommend. Bodum are well known for their built quality of cafetières. Spend that little bit more, and having something that will last a long time.

Bought my husband one of these for his birthday. He's the only coffee drinker in the house so this model allowed him to have his one cup in the morning without having wastage. Unfortunately I dropped his first one in the sink, breaking the glass. I searched around for other sturdy models (he is very heavy handed) but came back to this one as it had done such a good job.

Coffee making is super easy with this. I had one before and I found it very sturdy and filters the coffee really well. The only reason my last one broke is because of an accident. You can probably buy cheaper ones but I find these can withstand a lot of use.

Nice cafetiere. Only it does not make 3 cups of coffee. It makes (at a push) the equivalent of 2 double espressos, and if you want a longer coffee, you won't get two cups out of it. (No idea where 3 has come from!) It works fine for me as I have it in my studio so am only ever making coffee for one, but if you want a 3 cups, I suggest getting a '6 cup' one!
