GREAT PRODUCT. EXPERT LEVEL EXERCIZE ABILITY REQUIRED. BALANCE and SAFETY ARE of UTMOST IMPORTANCE.
UPDATE: 11/27/15 - The small diameter is not ideal for Pilates. I would recommend the largest for pilates on the Bosu. This small Bosu is better for vertical workouts or very petite individuals. ....Original Review: This is a nice quality Bosu. Works really well for my Intensity Workout and is easy to store and protect from my cats by simply draping my yoga mat over it when not in use. I do, however, need to use a folded up yoga/sticky mat underneat, as it can slide when doing front lunges on a carpet. No fault of the Bosu, just something I learned with certain moves. The sticky mat keeps it nice and secure and safe. The Bosu is very very challenging and takes a few weeks to master in terms of safety and being able to execute moves. My balance has increased to a degree I've never achieved before and I'm pretty stoked about that. I'm also able to do my entire intensity workouts, every move, after only two weeks of being a newbie. This is a smaller Bosu, so if you are tall or have a wide stance, you may want to buy the larger Bosu. I'm 5'6" and struggled a bit with it at first but realized it was because I was so bad at it. Hahah. I'm now able to balance on it and feel its' a good size for me.

Great but a bit small
Very durable but not the exact ones used in my Pilates class. This one is smaller but still effective

BOSU Ball should be an integral part of your workout equipment
I recently bought this BOSU Ball from Amazon to make it an integral part of my workouts. I am currently doing PT for leg strength and flexibility and I think this BOSU ball will really help. My PT guy uses it when I go to see him and I want to do it more often. I think it also really helps with balance issues.

I'm delighted with my Bosu sport ball
I'm delighted with my Bosu sport ball! I use the larger size at the gym, but I wanted something a little bit smaller for home.See the photos so that you know which equipment to use. First of all, the plug for the ball (to use once you have inflated it) is stapled to a small clear envelope inside a larger clear envelope which contains the instructions.Don't throw out the instructions or you will throw out the plug! The ball was pretty easy to inflate. Yes, the pump is a little cheap, but the issue is that when you have the platform side up, the weight of the platform leaves very little air space inside the ball. So when you start pumping, you have to be very patient. For about a minute you will not seem to be getting any air in the ball at all. All of a sudden, the platform will lift a little bit and it will inflate quickly. I literally inflated it in about two minutes.Once the ball is full and you have the plug handy, slide the pump out and cover the inflation hole in the ball with a finger. With a little bit of timing, you can lift your finger and slide the plug in. Make sure the plug is securely all the way in.I use the ball for ab work because my wrists bother me when trying to do a plank position on the floor. I also have a right shoulder tendon injury. Having my hands on the side of the Bosu ball keeps my wrist in a neutral position and reduces the strain on my shoulder injury. You can do mountain climbers, knee to opposite elbow ab moves and spider climber's (knee to same side elbow) for a great ab worked out. Flip the ball over and you can do crunches. This fall was easy to inflate and thus far I am very happy with it.

Does not hold air after 1 month of light use
Received Jan 2025 and noticed by mid Feb 2025 it does not hold air / slow leak. Only use for 10 min per day and have to pump it up each time. Pumped to firm level and by next day needs more air. I bought the same brand our PT has and am very disappointed with the quality. Return window was end of Jan and there is no way to even contact the company. For $80 this is ridiculous.
