Wonderful, much-used beauty gadget
This beauty does so many things, and does them well. I bought it primarily as an epilator and it works well - better on the higher setting than on the lower for me. The shaver is also very nice - good for touching up armpits and upper lips quickly. The heads are easily interchangeable. I have used the separate facial cleanser wand only a few times. I really liked it but have not yet gotten into the habit of using it regularly. This purchase was a bargain in my opinion as it does so many useful things and is made well by a trusted brand.I’ve had this about a year and a half and have used it many, many times. It’s working just as well as the day I received it.

Well worth the money
Disclaimer: I have never used an epilator before, so I can't compare it to anything similar. But, I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised.Ever since menopause, I've discovered hair where a woman should never have it. I've used depilatories (smelly and sometimes leave a rash), tweezers (takes forever), and shavers (can we say "stubble"?). It might have been a YouTube video where I stumbled on this thing called an epilator. I'd never even known they existed. After an exhaustive read-through of reviews, I chose this Braun product. When I received it, I admit I had some trepidation. It had many little tweezer-like devices, almost like a medieval torture device. But I took people's advice and softened my face with steam from my shower, and went to work.It hurt. I won't lie. But, determined, I kept at it. Because it WORKED. Mustache hairs GONE in a matter of seconds. I ended up using it weekly for a couple months, and the pain lessoned (although that sensitive area right under the nose...yeah. Makes my eyes water and I sneeze). The battery charge works for a long time. And it's very easy to use. It amazes me how it even grabs the fine little blonde hairs that a regular tweezer can't.I have only used it on my face, because I hate pain and the legs feel like too much of a challenge for me, but I am happy with it. I haven't used the facial cleansing brush yet. On my facial bucket list.

Great if you're a masochist!
I hate this thing so much. I wish I never bought it and learned to know this pain that this thing provides. And of course it looks all innocent and pink and like it's painless. IT'S NOT PAINLESS.Anyway, it's been a few weeks and I have yet to get through half of the bottom half of my second leg, but the bottom half of my first leg has become pleasantly hairless and mostly numb to the pain, like it's at a 5/10 rather than a 15/10. So maybe one day the day will come where my entire body is epilated without me crying and cursing myself out. At at least my legs. This is definitely not going anywhere near my armpits ever again. Anyway, I'll have to update when that day comes, maybe in a year or 2.

Best multi-tool set ever! Great epilator, shaver, and cleansing exfoliator brush
I have owned this epilator set since the 10th of February, so for five days. I am in love! Are you considering this epilator? I totally recommend trying this set, for various reasonsEpilator:- You can run the epilator over running water (less pain than dry)- You can run the epilator over wet legs with shower gel on them (grabs more hair and less painful than dry)-easy to clean the epilator. Run the head over running water, then use the brush to brush out hair around the epilator and the guard, then leave the head out to dry.Shaver:- The shave is close- the shaver is safe--no cuts- easy to clean the shaver head with the brush- so far have used a cotton swab dabbed with alcohol to disinfect the razor foil but I would be carefulCleansing Exfoliator Brush- exfoliates my face so well and makes my face super smooth- easy to clean the head (detach and wash separately, leave out to dry)Yeah, there is some pain involved using an epilator. There is not as much pain as I thought though, very similar to waxing, if using the epilator over wet legs with shower gel on them in the shower. I recommend buying a model like this which is waterproof for this very reason -- to avoid pain! Also, an epilator is more economical than a wax pot, since you do not need to buy more wax; or do not need to pay for waxing sessions.

Torture Device
So, I normally wax my face, but with being pregnant, my skin has been soooooo sensitive, I havent been able to do it. Shaving is not an option. I know what that does to facial hair.So i did a little research... I got this epilator because I havent ever tried that method of hair removal before.... the internet freakin lied to me. "Oh it doesn't hurt." And "its an effective and quick hair removal process"Needless to say. It feels like I've ripped half of my face off.. and I'm pretty sure i have 2 burns that are going to turn into blisters. Freakin internet. 10/10 do not recommend if you're looking for a new hair removal method. So my stupid ass is like "well I wax regularly so it can't be that bad." Yeah. Its that bad.And now! Oooh and now! I dont know what to do with the OTHER HALF OF MY FACE! one half is like freakin as smooth as a newborn baby's bottom, but the other half. I cant even finish it! So NOW I look like a freakin 15 year old mexican teenager trying to grow out a beard but changed his mind and got rid of only half of it. Imma stick to waxing.Edited to add.... i got some numbing cream and was able to finish the rest of my face. Maybe this epiltor thing isn't so bad after all.Easy to use. Effective.
