KORE Men's Full-Grain Leather Track Belts | “Eureka” Stainless Steel Buckle

I initially purchased this belt about 1 year ago. The concept behind the design of the buckle and adjustment mechanism seemed like such a great idea, why had no one thought of it before. I wound up using this belt exclusively, as it always fits perfectly, no "unused" belt hanging out, no holes for adjustment which are always an approximation. Three weeks ago the buckle slid off of the belt. What happened? Apparently the upper pin (there is a upper and lower pin) that secures the buckle to the belt had snapped off. This was odd as the belt had not snagged on anything, and there was no sign of damage. I really liked the belt, so I manged to reconnect the buckle and keep using it. However I decided to purchase another Eureka belt, not know if my repair would last. When the new belt arrived I sent an email to their customer service and explained what had happened. Within 2 hours I received an email response, asking for my model and mailing address. A hour later I received another email stating a replacement buckle had been shipped to me. The manufacturer Koreessentials apologized for what they believe was a defect in casting. A great design and high quality for such an everyday necessity and outstanding customer service. My only regret is I not having buying the belt sooner.

I have been searching for the perfect dress belt for a long time and finally found it. It sizes perfectly and can easily be adjusted for those times when you need a little extra room (like after a meal). It is also made from full genuine leather which gives it more durability.

I received my Men's Ratchet Belt / "Eureka" Stainless Steel, on the date promised. It came in a box for travel, and a box of it's own. The belt is of good quality black level. The buckle is of good quality stainless steel. I found that sizing the belt to my waist size was very easy. Just as it was described in their brochure. Attaching the belt buckle and using the belt buckle was easy and could be done with one hand. And adjusting the belt during the day, could be done with one hand and was very. I am very happy with my purchase. Thank you for your attraction.

First things first: This isn't full grain leather.Maybe I didn't understand what I was ordering. A portion of it might be full grain leather, but typically full grain leather means that the leather is all one piece. Full leather means that a slab of leather was cut into the shape of a belt, a buckle was added and some holes punched. Essentially it should only have two or three parts. Leather and metal. The full leather belt I've had since 2007 is still in the same condition as the day I bought it, save a few scuffs which gives it some character.But this belt is a layer of leather (What I assume is the full grain part), a layer of what looks like cloth, another layer of rubber, and plastic fuax leather back. All of these are sewn together. (See attached photo)This is a problem for me because belts that are bonded like this tend to separate over time and essentially fall apart.With all of that said, the belt looks nice. It even looks to be a decent quality. As long as you know what you're getting and are okay with it, it might even be worth the money. As of now, though, it's not quite what I was expecting. I'll wear it until it falls apart and see how much I liked it at that point.

Good belt. Handsome. One thing I like especially is that the latching area begins closer to the tip (end) of the belt than it does on the SlideBelts. That allows the belt buckle to grab the belt sooner than with the SlideBelt. That also means that you don't need to leave quite so much overhang that sticks out beyond the buckle. Still worthy of 5 Stars, but I do like the buckle mechanism on the SlideBelt better.

Easy to adjust the size. I find that I keep needing to tighten it, but I don't know if it's the belt or my not making it tight enough in the first place.

For $65 I expected "full grain leather" as advertised. I should have read the bad reviews before purchasing, and unfortunately for me I was out of town when it arrived and I didn't open it in time to return within 30 days (bad on me). But bad on KORE for advertising something to be "full grain leather" that isn'tMaybe there is a thin veneer of full grain leather, but it looks and feel like cheap plastic. Not a fan and wish I could have returned.

It's a little pricey but still an awesome belt. Esp for older guys whose waists can expand/contract from day to day but not necessarily by an inch, which is the problem with most traditional belts and buckles. The track on this let's you adjust by an eighth or quarter of an inch (I'm guessing) but point is its far more flexible and comfortable. A lot of the slide belts out there slip and don't hold the position you put them in. Not a problem with this one which locks in place. Simple design I'm surprised it didn't hit the market a long time ago. Although they probably said that about the Wright Brothers too.
