This is a nice set of hardware, but the pins are not numbered on the side you'll solder. Nicer plugs will have numbers which is a huge win for verifying connections. Granted the pins are numbered on the pin side, but this is of little help when soldering. Also, these numbers are pretty faint, again compared to nicer plugs.

I have used these from different sources for many years. They were exactly what I was expecting. No surprises!

Kit is missing nuts for the wire clamp. The plastic housing has no threads and each side of the wire clamp is only tapped through one hole so you need a two additional nuts to secure your cable.Overall the parts work as expected. The images show an incorrectly assembled housing but I suppose anyone assembling their own D-subs knows that the panel screws come through from the cable side. Longer thumb screws for your panel screws would probably be a good idea.

Needed some connectors and these did the job..used to replace old housing and clean up some old connections..

These were perfect for making my Commodore Amiga loopback tester to check the DB25 port. Great for projects and handy for some spares too.

Solder cups are quite poor cheap forming. The plastic surrounding them in the d sjell is not very tolerant to heat and the pins start to fail very quickly if you linger soldering wires.
