I accidentally purchased the 5lb bag instead of the 1lb bag. Not to worry it is a better value for your dollar and i also do not have to worry about buying salt for a few years. It has a great flavor and is perfect on fish and chicken. Just a pinch goes a long way. It is not overpowering at all and I think its a healthier option then other kitchen salts.

The color will bleed into your food.Tastes great but be aware.

Brought this to make salt scrubs with; figured men would like the colour and charcoal is popular. It says fine grain but its not fine grain more of a kosher salt grain consistency but not too bad still. Once i added the oils and dried flowers and what not this was very striking. Its appealing to the eye and of course it leaves the skin soft. I have a bit left and will be trying it on food since it would be a waste not to.

I am using this with other ingredients as a bath salt. I LOVE IT. Everyone says it leaves a black residue and yes..that's the activated charcoal! That's great stuff! From what I understand the black sea salt is infused with activated charcoal. Just keep a magic erasure near your tub, it's not a big deal. A great soak.

Great deal for the money - I struggled with the Star Rating because I really wanted to give it 3 Stars and that's because there is a lot of Charcoal Residue. I would recommending putting the salt in a fine strainer and sifting the excess dust from it.I can also recommend Raw Garden Brand - Even their Coarse mix is medium fine and a beautiful consistency.Still this is the best bang for buck.
