Excellent at finding refrigerant leaks. Can use in hard to reach places and has a nice loud audible beep. When approaching the source/location of a leak, the beeping begins to beep faster until the detector begins to move out of range of the leak source and is he beeping slows back down to normal speed. If the detector starts out in a “flooded”environment when powered on, then it can be reset and powered back on which enables the detector to “rezero” itself and then allows the detector pinpoint the leak source. Very dependable leak detector.
