I wanted some arty, pretty mugs for everyday use. These are genuine bone china mugs, which always makes tea taste better. (Be careful when looking at listings, some items are listed as bone china and are actually stoneware - but Heritage are a reputable maker from historic Stoke.) These are a great size, with good quality glaze on the pattern. There is no metallic element to the glazing, so you could microwave them (I have not tried to do this). The china is not too thick, but not wafer thin, so the mugs are perfect for every day use. Described as dishwasher safe, and after many washes, I can confirm that the glaze has not been spoiled and there are no cloudy marks. Very happy with these mugs, and would recommend.

These mugs arrived well packed and I absolutely love them. I have searched for this size and quality for some months now. I was not disappointed. They are gorgeous to look at, a fantastic size and most importantly, they really are fine bone china, nice and light, I hate chunky mugs. I would definitely use this store again.

Arrived well packaged and in good time.The beakers are a little thicker than I had anticipated given that they are fine bone china, I expect they have been imported and as a result not as fine as English bone china. They are, however, attractive and colourful and I'm sure we will savour our tea far more so than if it was served in a porcelain or earthenware mug.
