It's bright and the head tilts.
I find myself using the light in many different situations at work and at home. The magnet on the bottom is great for positioning light where I need it. I can tape the light to a pole, tape measure, rod, etc., to pick up things that I drop down into places that are impossible to reach otherwise. The head is adjustable at different angles. I've received many compliments about the brightness. The light will get very warm when left on for awhile. The only drawback is that you have to remove the battery to charge it. I bought a second battery so when my battery dies I can quickly replace it with a charged one and throw the depleted battery onto the charger. It is a great light for a technician. I can attach it to the brim of my hat or put it into my pocket and angle the head of the light at 90 degrees. I had bought the EDC27 afterwards but it wasn't as useful as this one. 1,000 lumens is more than enough for technician.

The USB charger is not the right one
Nitecore is great but the charger sent did not fit the battery. I returned the light.

Best Investment So Far
This flashlight is simply amazing. My favorite EVER. (You should know I have a problem with flashlights and knives-I have too many).This one is very bright when needed. But has multiple settings so it doesn’t automatically blind you when you turn it on.The angle head is firm. Doesn’t move around. Awesome.I haven’t used the rechargeable battery yet disposables are easy to track.

Fraudulent Advertising & Wrong Battery
The light is great. The packaged deal from the vendor, however, is fraudulent. I paid specifically for NL1834R battery and received the NL1826R battery. The battery advertised is 3400mAh; the one I received is 2600mAh.

Such a quality build and light, only 1k lumens but it’s great for the job

Battery surprise!!
My only complaint is the battery. The heading says you get a 1834R battery, then the info states you get the 1826R battery. One is the 3400mAh vs the 2600mAh. Well not sure if it’s a grab bag and it could go either way, but I got the 1826R. I know it’s petty, but it is misleading or confusing at best! Overall, great price and great light.

Clearly the WRONG battery charging cable
Sloppy and inconsiderate to the customer to supply a battery charging cable that clearly does not fit the battery, when the idea is to make it convenient to pay for it all in one bundle. Otherwise, this is my second Nitecore flashlight and it works great.
