Like them. Purchased 2 boxes of the hangers. They are even better for me than lumber ones. Perfectly carry jackets and motorcycle outfit

Hangers that work just fine but not indestructible
The hook has threads like a sheet metal screw. You screw the hook into a pilot hole. I think the threads will stay tight as long as I don't go twisting on them repeatedly. I'd have preferred a swivel hook but I'm not complaining considering the price. The bars that support the trousers snap into the main body of the hanger. The bars are up to the task but the ends of the bar that hook into the hanger can break if you're not careful. I stepped on the bundle of bars as I was assembling and one of the ends snapped off the bar. Oh well, one hanger without a trousers bar. I would have preferred a rounded edge to the square bar the pants hang over but so far, I've not noticed any unwanted creases in my trousers from them conforming to the square edges of the bar. As you may know, it's not advisable to snap the bar's retainer strap down on your pants for any length of time, that will undoubtedly leave a crease. For what I paid, I'm happy, it's just a thing to hang my outfits on in the closet and the wide, rounded outer points help a great deal to prevent the sleeves of my jackets from wrinkling as they hang. The hangers could be an inch or so wider though. I wear a size 44 to 46 jacket with shoulders 18 1/2" to 19" wide and the hangers do not span the whole width. They are still so much better for the sleeves than a regular skinny coat hanger.

Nice product for the price
I have several heavy leather jackets and also just got my wife two jackets. They are great for keeping the jackets looking good. No more pointy shoulders on the jackets. I also purchased large pillow cases to cover the jackets . The directions say not to use plastic. So we poked a small hole for the hanger to go through.. perfect fit

Plastic smell
While they are cheap, they are made of low quality plastic - the smell takes 2 days to wear off but still accumulates in my closet with the door closed.

Great wide-hangers
I purchased these hangers for my suits as well as my NHL & MLB jerseys, and I'm very happy with my purchase.I chose these over other similar wooden hangers because they're lighter, contain 3x as many hangers, and they're not susceptible to possible insect infestations as some of the wooden hanger reviews. The hangers need to be put together. You screw in the metal hook, then attach the pant hanging bar to the underside of the hanger. It took me about 5 minutes, and it was extremely easy. They include a sheet of paper with the instructions, but you won't need it.The hangers themselves are lightweight and smooth. There are no areas when I worry about an article if clothing getting 'snagged or caught'. The pants bar is actually two pieces, so you can hang your pants on the bar, then flip the second bar above it down, so it firmly presses against your pants and the lower bar to keep them secured. Very useful. The only part I wish were different was the metal hook. Since it needs to be screwed in directly to the hanger, that means it stays in one direction and cannot spin. That doesn't matter to me in the end, because I have a preference as to which way the hanger will hang in my closet, and I can decide that direction when I screw it in.Ultimately I am very happy with these hangers, and if I were to need more, I would purchase these again.

Good Enough For Price Paid, With MAJOR Reservations
For the price paid on 15 Extra Wide Shoulder DIY Assembly Hangers, these seem to be good enough.(Judging from the beginning of my self-assembly project)You can easily pay the same price for maybe 2-4 much better quality hangers.I just want these for OCBD's, Tee shirts, light jackets. Maybe some light weight madras and seersucker blazers. So I need more volume than top quality for the time being.I wanted 60 hangers not 5. And I'm not paying 3K to revamp my existing collection of hangers with $20 hangers.WORTH KNOWING BEFORE PURCHASING:- the Metal Hanger Piece is highly unusual for the US market. It's stiff, not swivel oriented, although it will swivel of necessary.GARMENT WEIGHT- the metal hanger piece + adjacent plastic isn't strong enough to hang HEAVY coats and jackets..ome recieewes have pics of leather jackets posted. these won't work unless it's a kids leather jacket.ALSO TOO HEAVY:Cold weather weight Wool / Tweed Blazers.Middle Weight Wool Coats for both sexes.Duffel Coats and Pea Coats (be they $700 Caliber or lighter $100 Old Navy )Trench coats with heavy collars. (Making a comeback)You can probably do a LIGHT trench coat, or the women's cropped trench selling at Brooks Brothers.PERFECT WEIGHT: Hockey jerseys, MLS / NFL / MLB jerseys would work perfectly as the other review highlights.I'm planning to use these for OCBD's, tee shirts, light jackets.ASSEMBLY- During Assembly, Screw the Metal Hanger Piece in just snugly enough. But don't overdo it or else you'll damage or crack the plastic. Leave some room for an extra twist.- people are posting pictures of the metal meets plastic screw in area cracked. These hangers are a softer more malleable plastic than most US hangers.KEY CONSIDERATION Aka WHY 2 STARS- I'm using blue disposable vinyl exam gloves to assemble these, and there's a kind of "factory residue" appearing on the gloves. And that's after assembling just 2 hangers. It's not necessarily major. Just residue that seems like factory dust. I don't want that rubbing off on my clothes.I also donnwd a 2nd, fresh pair of gloves and wiped my hands on Just the plastic. SO IT'S DEFINITELY THE PLASTIC.Immediately , IT'S A PAUSE ON PLANS to hang 80 shirtts within the next few days. That being said, I wouldn't instantly hang white, light colored, or expensive items on these without a cleaning remedy to the factory dust issue. And IDK if I would use pre moistened cleaning wipes, because that might also damage the fabric when you go to hang garments.I'm searching for those thin-foam hanger covers, same material and texture to plate protectors when packing and shipping China. Not having much luck for extra wide shoulders.POTENTIAL REMEDY: I'm experimenting with running the nassembled plastic pieces though a quick wash cycle on my dishwasher. (Heating features turned off )As wacky as all this may sound, I waited too long to open the Amazon boxes / I'm past the return window. And I still don't see much out there priced as well as these. With some extra time + work, I'm hoping these will end up working out while saving some money.I'll update after I realize results of the dishwasher scheme.

Best hangers
I’ve ordered these hangers twice, and they are well constructed, easy to put together, and work beautifully with lightweight to heavy clothes.
