The best medical notebook
I am currently a student doing my rotations in general surgery and I bought the surgery H&P notebook and I am so impressed! This is the most organized and helpful notebook I've had. Everything is easy to read back on and write notes in. There is enough room for everything to be on the pages. They also include a cheat sheet to help look back on. My FAVORITE thing is they also include bade clip cards that have the same information on to look back on if ever stuck or want to check. I will never go back to other notebooks! Thank you MedicalBasics.

Great for Rounds!
When it comes to keeping track of how a patient is doing (especially if you're in the SICU) this makes it so easy to keep their labs organized- there is one big page initially for the details of why they're here and even a little cheat sheet for the fishbone (which was a huge help since I'm a medical student and still getting used to the format). The physical exam is also perfect cause it isn't as crazy-detailed as other H&P books, and it covers what you would actually just do during a physical examination.

Great for rotations
Love this book for Med school rotations. It’s a little bulky, but I love how it organizes all my patient info and has it ready to present when put on the spot!

Best H&P Notebook on the Market
This notebook is perfect for anyone following surgical patients! Easy to read section headers, ROS list and Physical Exam template. Even provides labeled lab diagrams. Leaves plenty of space for HPI, PMH, FH, Meds, etc. as well as space for additional notes. The 4 day SOAP note following each H&P could not be more convenient. Great Product!

Surgery History and Physical Notebook
The Surgery History and Physical Notebook perfect for anyone on a surgical rotation. It's beautifully crafted and built to last, with plenty of room for all your notes and observations. However, I found the size a bit cumbersome for scrubs pockets. A slightly more compact design would be ideal, as it can be tricky navigating a busy rotation when you need both hands free and have nowhere to stow the notebook. Overall, it’s a great tool, but a few tweaks could make it even better!

Concise, convenient, coherent
This has allowed me to organize patient information in a way that is easy to follow, easy to present, and easy to incorporate in the patient note. It has all the right spaces for information for new patients or consults, and then 4 days per patient for post-op hospitalization status. It has helped me on surgery, and would have also been extremely useful for medicine and pediatrics.

Best rounding and over all patient notebook
I started using these when I was in medical school, and now throughout residency I continue to use them. In medical school it was more to help me create a systematic approach to seeing and treating patients, but now it helps me keep a good record of complicated patients, so I can have access to their vital information without having to open the EMR and make a ton of clicks before I find the information I’m looking for. Highly recommend for anyone in medical school and residency! The little cheat cheat cards that they bring her also incredible and very helpful.

Organized and perfect size
I am using the notebook for the surgery rotation and I am very happy to be able to bye this notebook. I was worried for some time about presenting a patient case in a structural way and keep it as short as possible so this notebook is just what I needed. The font size could be bigger but if you depend on your knowledge during history taking you won’t need to read all the small points carefully. I just wish that the abbreviations are written at the beginning or the back of the notebook but I can look them up so no problem. Overall, an organized tool for patient consultation and presentation, if you don’t mind small font size then it's perfect.
