SteriShoe+ Ultraviolet Shoe Sanitizer/UV Sneaker Deodorizer/Boot Sterilizer/Kills The Germs That Cause Toenail Fungus (Onychomycosis)

The product seems good, it is working. You have to make sure you put it into the shoe as far aw it will go then cover them up and try and not to move them. I use it on 3 pairs of shoes. Honestly, the 1 day I got it is when I mostly used it..which was on March 17, 2019 since then I have come up with the excuse of how often should I use this product on my shoes. So just today I sent SteriShoe an Email, not a phone call, because I am not one to talk. I have re-started to use the product on this Sunday, August 11, 2019. Once I get a response from SteriShoe I will continue to use it or use it less, but so far it is every day, at least the shoes I used that day. The scent package, I am still using the same one, heck it still smells like "pine". I can not say the product works, because I have not been using it as I should (but then again, the instructions do not say how often to use it). Of course I am still using the medications the doctor gave me. So hopefully, like my Dr Says, by the end of the year, my feet will be beach ready (in December..LOL) Hope this review helps. It is easy to use and turns off automatically, but still, like any electric devise, you should not leave it unattended..I use it when I am watching tv or playing clash of clans...lol

I LOVE this product! I highly recommend this item. My daughter wears UGGs and moccasins without socks at times and both the shoes and her actual feet would stink! I tried using baking soda, washing the insides with a baking soda detergent combo, UGG wash, deodorizing shoe balls, even the dry cleaner that deodorized UGGs (which worked but was expensive & the smell eventually came back from her wearing them); these didn't produce lasting odor free results. SteriShoe seems to work! The unit runs for 15 mins. so when we first got it I ran each pair of shoes/boots through the cycle 3 times. Now we just run shoes/boots through one cycle at the end of the evening and there has been NO odor in the shoes/boots or on her feet! We do also put shoe balls (those deodorizing balls you can buy at many athletic stores) in each pair after using the SteriShoe as well. SteriShoe seems to have eliminated the odor! The product can be a little fussy if it senses the bag is not entirely closed (has only been an issue with the left one for some reasons), but it doesn't always happen so I figure it's not a product malfunction. We haven't tried adding the scent pouches yet, haven't seemed to need them, but will probably try them at some point. Product came as promised, seems to work as it said it would. I recommend both the product and the seller.

Stopped working on one foot. Called customer service and since it was just outside 1 year since I bought it they would not do anything. The unit cost $109.88, it should have lasted past one year, especially since I didn't use it that often. I am just placing this review now since I just saw it in the back of my closet and it reminded me that the value is not in this product. So don't buy it, it won't last, and customer service won't stand behind the product.

When I saw the SteriShoe on Amazon, I thought it was a brilliant solution to the reoccurrence of toenail fungus that has plagued me for 5 years. Then I read the reviews. They were terrible. I was really disappointed. I depend on reviews to help me decide whether to make purchases on Amazon - I mean, we are buying things that we haven’t even SEEN, much less seen in action. I found the main phone number for SteriShoe and called them. I wanted someone to “sell” me on this product. A young lady answered, and she was NOT a salesman. I desperately tried to get her to tell me the reasons I should buy the product - she couldn’t. I asked her why the Amazon reviews were so bad - she hadn’t read them. I was sooo over her attitude. I hung up and tried to forget about SteriShoe. I called back. This time I got a more seasoned salesman who stood by the product, enjoyed working for the company, and gave me some good advice about replacement bulbs (don’t buy them when you buy the SteriShoe because the warranty for both begins when you purchase them. Wait until you actually need a replacement bulb, then the warranty will begin at purchase and the bulb will be under warranty should it be defective and will be replaced). So I bought the SteriShoe. ITS FANTASTIC!!!!! I don’t know if the light actually purifies the shoe of fungus and bacteria (I’m not a pathologist), but it has a FAN and a scent packet that dries the shoe and leaves it smelling fresh. The mere action of putting the device in my shoes makes me more aware of my responsibility to keep my shoes cleaner and healthier. I pulled out the Dr. Scholl’s inserts in the first pair I used the device in - the inserts were filthy, disintegrating, and smelled like crap. I pulled out all the comfort inserts in all my shoes and ditched them. I’m replacing them as I wear the shoes. I ordered the SteriShoe 2 months ago - I use it every day. It’s EASY to use. It is NOT fickle - just read the instructions for chrissakes. The lights blink a bit as the device boots up and verifies the 2 safety checks - the button on the back heel is depressed (if the device has been inserted upside-down, or isn’t level) and the room light is not hitting the device (which means that the UV light from the device is not escaping into the room - it can damage your eyes if u stare at it.). I just dim the room lights and I don’t use the bag and it works fine. I don’t understand the bad reviews. This gadget kicks ass. I’ll update in a few months to let y’all know if it is helping to keep my particular strain of toenail fungus at bay. In the meantime, I’ll enjoy having clean, healthy, nice-smelling shoes thanks to SteriShoe!!!!!

These sterilizers were recommended by my podiatrist. They are very easy to use and the idea of killing all the nasty germs and fungus that grow in shoes is terrific! The basic cleaning process only takes 15 minutes. The unexpected bonus was how much more comfortable my shoes are when I put them on after using the SteriShoe. There is a fan with the light and I guess there was always some residual moisture even though I haven't noticed my feet being sweaty. When I put my shoes on after using this product, they have a pleasant dryness and subtle softness/warmth (not from heat but from the dryness in the shoe) to them that I didn't expect. They also have an option to turn the fan on for 8 hours to dry out shoes that have gotten wet which I really like, given that I live in Seattle!
