I am going to raise $5,000,000 dollars for a business I'm building. I am specifically using the Napoleon Hill plan to get it.I highly recommend this particular book. This is the Rolls Royce of the Rolls Royce of success books. I own this version. I have given several as gifts."The Secret", "Neuro-Linguistic Programming" etc... were all stolen from this book. Why? because they work! I have seen enough evidence to know that there is literally gold in these pages! (you have to be willing to do EXACTLY as it says).Napoleon Hill didn't make up these ideas- he got them from interviewing many very successful men. He just distilled the basics of what got them to their lofty heights. I have seen people use this plan. I have seen them do extremely well. I know it works, and I know it will work for me.Think and Grow Rich is a very meaty book. Every single page contains vital information. This book IS a workbook in it's entirety. I use the original book as a workbook. I use red and blue pens to underline important information. I put stars next to particularly vital information. I put circles next to passages that contain specific actions. I use my computer to customize his program into mine, and to print out things that need to be. I re-read the book regularly. I am putting this book into ACTION.Do yourself a favor and get this particular version book (not an amended or updated version either!) Get the leather bound deluxe version... and PUT IT TO WORK! MAKE YOUR DREAMS COME TRUE!

The book is what I was looking for

I always wondered what the rich people in the world know that I didn't.. This book spelled it out to a T.. It's changed my ENTIRE way of thinking, and actually rescued me from one of the worst periods of my life. This book is a MUST READ, whether you're trying to get rich or not.. It provides basic principles that are to be applied to every aspect of life. The power of the mind is something that never occurs to us because we're constantly giving attention to unimportant facts and events. Take Mr. Hills instructions and take possession of your mind right away. Again, this book is not to be missed, and should be read by EVERYONE.. I am requireing my children to read it, as true success will be out of their, or anyone's grasp without the information here.

I got this particular book in a bait and switch deal. (Amazon took care of it, aren't they great!) As best as I can tell this is not the 1958 edition in the listing, it is the 2008 Penguin reprint with some basic changes (like sir instead of suh),so if you see one used be sure to check what you are getting. There are 1937 editions, 1940 editions, 1958 editions, 1960 editions and who knows how many more and that is not counting the ebooks. The 1960 edition is the one where they first really changed and somewhat abridged the original. This one (2008) has all the material in it, but it may be worded slightly differently or the spelling changed not to reflect the accents of the day. I suggest buying one of the original texts, a reprint like this based on the original text. They definitely left some things out of the 1960 edition. (My 1983 paperback has over 100 fewer pages)Now about the book. Over the years the top three books that surveys indicate wealthy people give credit for learning to make money are: The Holy Bible KJV (no kidding) The Science of Getting Rich by Wallace Wattles and Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill. Honorable mention goes to How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie and The Master Key System by Charles Haanel.The Bible stands on its own. The Science of Getting Rich makes a good wealth foundation by getting your thinking straight and Think and Grow Rich can't be beat for telling you how to proceed.Napoleon Hill had his ups and downs, but he died rich. When he made money he followed the principles, when he lost money he disregarded the principles. By winning and losing he proved the principles correct from both sides.There should be a law that every one that can read and write own the three books mentioned above as the top three wealth builders. Before you could apply for welfare you should have to read this book and write a book report to get your first check. I don't think there would be as many third, fourth, and other checks as the people started making greater riches. Many people read and used this book before there was a government safety net and pulled themselves out of literal starvation during the depression years. I have heard of camps of unemployed men that passed the book around after hearing of the success it had with members of other camps.It is not a book, it is a phenomena.By saying there should be a law that you own this book I would think that is just about the highest recommendation I can give.best,SH

It has helped me in COUNTLESS ways. I recommend this read to anyone who wants to better themselves from this over done world of sickness we live in.
