the pleats are perfect no gaps, all even spacing, bought as spare when i need a replacement

I really wanted to like these. I spent a TON of time trying to find some way to avoid the OEM replacement catridges. These got good reviews and were significantly cheaper. Starting out, they've worked fine. We noticed immediately that the seal between the cartridge and manifold isn't as tight. But I went ahead and installed them. They work fine, until they get a little dirty. Then, the pump pushes the water AROUND the loose seal and loses head pressure. Very low water flow. I'm cleaning them every other week or so.

Currently installed filters came from same source and purchased these as back up. Been installed for about a year now and very impressed so far.

The top & bottom of the cartridges do no fit snugly to end caps in filter, resulting on zero pressure registering in the filter. Debris passes right back into the pool as a result. Another example of junk made in China.
