Small but mighty! My Buddha looks lovely and peaceful sitting on my desk. Exactly as advertised including size so be aware; not all size matters but this one is small, like a nice paper weight size. It’s got some real heft too so it is made of the material advertised. All in all, this is a lovely piece to add to a growing collection of Far Eastern religious and occult pieces I have.It also lends to my belief in a higher self, that while many may not hold themselves accountable to a God or Goddess, one must be absolutely mindful of doing good works here on this Earth to aid your higher self (which in turn helps all others if everyone practiced being kinder and more open to exchanging positive energy rather than dumping their fear and negativity all over themselves and others like a bucket of fertilizer...) to being accountable and present for life to not suck. In a day when literally everyone is suffering from some sort of depression and anxiety, it’s a forgone conclusion it’s because society is far less about personal accountability and more about being angry, blanket blaming anyone and everyone for their issues. That would make anyone miserable and angsty. Seriously, practice being less about you and more situationally aware of your impact on others, trying really hard not to be annoying, self-righteous, offended, or oppressed all the time. Lighten up, soften your heart, smile often, and practice being quiet inside and out with this little guy as a helper guide. It works. I am basically a mute at this point. 🤣Peace to all brothers and sisters everywhere.

Very pleased with my purchase. We placed the statue on small table next to Zen Garden. The beautiful statue of Blessing Buddha is bringing a significant presence to the area. The statue is made with good quality. The small details on the statue are made with good precision. The height is suitable for the desk, bookcase or small table.

First off, I want to give my thanks for selling such a wonderful piece at this price. This is an item that I really felt the need to have. I paid $39.98, and this is such an incredible value for this level of quality and material. I've been looking and have been disheartened at the outrageous prices I've seen. I've even looked at shops in San Francisco Chinatown.So, I've practiced some aspects of Buddhism (meditation mostly) for a long time, but I've recently decided to become what you would call a Buddhist (still a lay practitioner). I've been looking for a Buddha for my home alter. I knew I wanted brass for its important qualities, and when I found this I was amazed at the price. Well, I was skeptical really, but after receiving my order I couldn't be happier. I am certain that it is brass. It's definitely metal, and rather heavy. It's somewhat hollow, but not flimsy. I would estimate the thinnest points are still around a 1/4 inch thick. It isn't perfect. There are some tool marks, some blemishes and it looks like some of the dimensions and angles are a little off, but that is easily overlooked by just how beautiful this statue is and how well made it is and you really need to be looking close to see the imperfections. These little imperfections help me to contemplate my own imperfections.The mudra of this Buddha, based on my very new and limited understanding (anyone feel free to correct me), incorporates the protector or shield. This is really perfect for what I wanted in my daily meditation practice, with the protection being a symbol of no fear, peace and benevolence; this really helps in creating my own sacred space.Others have mentioned the oily film and smell. It is coated with a thin layer of some kind of oil and smells as such. It may be left over from the production of this piece but I actually appreciate this because I believe it protects it from oxidation in storage and shipping. It was received well packaged, with a nice heavy layer of bubble wrap that was tight and secure. I so appreciate the care taken to ensure this statue was received in great condition.Again, I couldn't be happier with this and it exceeded all my expectations. Amitofo my friends.

When I opened this package I was stunned by how nice it was.Several years ago I bought a smaller clay statue at a store in town but this is better value for the price.It's very shiny, I will enjoy it as it dulls with age.I showed it to my dad and he was impressed.Five stars!

This is a beautiful statue. Very ornate detailing on the back. I am giving this statue as a gift. The only problem that I've seen so far is the smell of oil that was used on the brass statue. My hope is that the smell will dissipate by the time I give this to the person that it's intended for.
