Bestop 52406-11 Retractable Sunshade, Mesh

VERY easy to install. High Quality. Expected from a Bestop genuine product.A must have if you also own a Sunrider for your Jeep.Installed in my 2015 Jeep Wrangler JKU in less than 15minutes.Helps reduce harsh direct sunlight when you have your top back and also helps with wind noise.Definitely recommended!

I didn’t think I would like this. But I do.I live in south Mississippi and it’s hot. This comes in handy for those times when the sun is beating down hard on me when sitting at in traffic.My wife likes how it reduces the amount of wind blowing in yet you still have the openness.It is a bit of a pain to get the very small screws installed to attach the brackets. Otherwise it’s great quality and easy to install and easy to use.

I recently bought the Bestop Sunrider for my Wrangler hardtop. This sunscreen cuts intense sun just right. Still get the enjoyment of open top with less glare. Easy install.

This was a very easy install. Just two of the mounting screws already there for your Sunrider. Then it has a mesh sunshade that fills the gap left behind the bar of the sunshade.You install this with four bungee cords and three pieces of Velcro you stick to the bar of the sunshade. This Velcro didn't last a day and almost every time I got in my Jeep at least two had come undone, finally actually separating the hooks from the adhesive strip it was attached with. I had some heavy duty Velcro so I just cut some matching pieces and reattached it.For the bungee cord use a clothes hanger to pull them through the extremely small gaps between the sound bar and roll bars. Just make a small hook with the hanger. Slide the hanger through the gap and then hook the bungee cord to it. Now just pull it through and secure it with the built in toggle.Overall the entire thing seems very well made as you would expect from Bestop.

I waited a really long time to get one. I had ordered from Bestop and they were back ordered then they said they couldn’t get one. I tried I couple of times here and I finally got one! Love it!

Easy install..works great

While I'm sure the sunshade will work as intended, the picture in the listing shows L brackets on the end of the sunshade whereas the product I received had small square brackets (more like the ones shown in the 52405-11 listing). Its like the pictures for the 52405-11 and 52406-11 listings are swapped.

This sunshade works really well with the Bestop Sunrider for Hardtop to keep that open top feeling and still see the sky without the sun beating down in you especially when not moving. It's a little harder to latch and unlatch than in the video but not too hard, and it does make it a little harder to close the Sunrider for Hardtop because it sits in front of it so you have to reach up and over it to flip the top closed. I have to sit on the console a second to do it. I still think it's a good purchase though a lower price point would be better for a retractable mesh panel.
