We gave this Lego creation to our 7 year old grandson. Once started, he could not stop. He finished more than half on his first night and the balance on his second. It has provided hours of creative play along with continuing development of his fine-motor control skills. I recommend this for any boy or girl that loves Legos and dinosaurs.

If you want to spend money on a pricey jurrassic park lego this one is worth it. I bought 2 boxes of these several years a go and misplaced it. So I bought 2 more for my kids this year. Finally found one of the missing boxes so I built it for myself. It is a fun set to build. Not too difficult because it it broken down into three main sections. Still need to build the trailer. The funest is the treasure chest because of the colors and little contraptions. I also purchased the bigger set of this series (last year) the robotic dinosaur, that one was also great fun to build ( my son said that and he loved it!) So if you are thinking about purchasing this set for your kids, this one is well worth it.
