Tekton is the best tool manufacturer that I've found for the price point. Every single part has a part number on them. This allows you to buy singles if your loose them. Also their warranty is a no questions asked warranty. Simply take a picture of the broken part. Upload it to their website, and they send you a replacement within a few days. I've seen my co workers wait months for snap-on to replace their broken tools. Harbor Freight offers great value but you can't buy singles when you inevitably loose something out of your set. They offer a "Quinn" set that looks very similar to this set. However, you can't buy singles.I have this set, the 1/2" set and the 1/4 set. When you buy them together it's an extremely good buy. There are no skipped sizes either!! If you're thinking about biying these, pull the trigger and thank me later. I've been replacing all my tools with Tekton at my day job work, and in both of my home shops. All my old stuff will either be sold or brought into the house so I have a small tool set for house hold projects. I like having complete sets of tools in my shop and at my day job.

Sockets don’t stay in the case which is half the reason I bought this set is the organizer

This has all the deep and shallow 6 point sockets a 3/8ths set should have. With a breaker bar, two extensions, and a swivel drive. This is the second I have bought because I liked the gift set I gave so well.

I've owned this set for just over 4 years now. I'm an avid hobby mechanic and use this set almost evey day. Every aspect of this set is wonderful. The case is the best design I'm aware of and is extremly durable. The ratchet is very smooth, and strong. The breakover bar is very long and unbelievable tough. I weight 180lb and have stood on the very end on more than one occasion. Thats 270 ft lbs -insane for 3/8" drive. The sockets fit very well and show no signs of wear after much use. I've even used them to drive bearing sout aggressivly with a hammer a couple of times, with no damage. Could not recommend more.

Excellent product, from the case to the tools. Quite a bang fir your. Uck that will last you a long time. Excellent customer service as well. Don't blow your money on that extremely over priced snapon, most of their tools are just as good if not better!

I usually don't write reviews, but I felt I needed to with this after using them today. This set has been probably the best tool purchase I've made in my life outside of my Dremel (harbor freight of course). I don't treat my tools nicely, but I also don't hammer them on the ground randomly for no reason. This set has lasted me through a lot of different car work, home work, and general home equipment repair/work. I've used these sockets on impact drivers more times than I can count (that was the use today), and I don't even have so much of a scuff on the edges of these sockets. For what I paid for the set, this has blown me away in terms of longevity and usability. Probably like many of you, I started on cheap harbor freight stuff. But at some point, all of that just breaks down. This has not been the case at all with this set. I definitely recommend this for people that can't afford snap-on. The case is also very useful for keeping everything together, and has also held together extremely well.

As a diyer, i see the set to be of great use for me given its high quality sockets and rachets. The sockets and rachets have a clean and well-crafted finish making them beautiful and have a good feel for me as i hold them. I am yet to use them actually. I JUST NOTICED THAT WHEN I RECEIVED THE PARCEL FROM THE Ninja Van, IT WAS NOT CONTAINED IN AMAZON BOX, INFACT ITS ONLY CONTAINED IN TEKTON BOX WITH OUT ANY AMAZON MARKINGS ON IT. I think Amazon has to know this and i will be thankful to know why this happened?

I see what some reviewers say about the height of the normal size sockets. And I can see how that can be a pain in the budd - as they are larger than normal. I actually ran into an issue myself trying to get one in a tight space. But overall, I think the set is really nice. The size of the standard sockets should not make this a deal breaker for you. It's complete, the breaker bar works great. The chrome finish is much better than I expected. There is a nice range of sizes of course in both standard (larger) and extended. The ratchet just feels good in your hand. Perhaps a mechanic would go elsewhere, but this is great for the average joe and home owner. And I wouldn't worry about highlighting the number indicators in the case. It's easily readable as far as I'm concerned. Surprisingly, the company must have listened to a reviewer - as I had a piece of carboard to separate the sockets from the ratchet and breaker bar side. It might not last in the long run. But I'm careful with it and so far so good.
