I purchased the battery and charger combo because the review for the Sanyo Xacti video camera said that battery life would be an issue (it is). This kit is a great product, the batteries and charger hardly take up any room in my camera bag and in addition to being able to plug it into the wall (built in fold-able plug is awesome!) I can also charge it in the car! As it arrived before the camera I ordered, I had the batteries fully charged and ready when my video camera arrived. I don't even use the supplied Sanyo charger at all because it has a cord and the Wasabi is more convenient and takes up less room. I recommend this for anyone using the Sanyo Xacti as the battery life is regrettably short. With this product I can always have a fresh battery on hand to swap. The price is amazing, and even though it's not expensive it still looks and feels sturdy and durable. I've had it for about a month now and I use it several times a week without issue.

I just want to say one thing about everyones negative comments about battery life. This is a CAMERA, which happens to take VIDEO. Not the other way around. I got about 30 minutes from the factory Sanyo battery, and you know what? I got about 30 minutes from these batteries. If you wanted a video camera you should buy a video camera. That's all there is to say. I received one battery that wouldn't charge. No big deal. I've bought rechargable Duracells from walmart that were bad right out of the box too. Stuff happens. The key is how the seller dealt with it. I contacted via e mail to let them know and offer to send it back. They just sent another battery without any delay! For the price this cannot be beat. The battery chargers (factory and wasabi) both charge any of the batteries so you can use one while 2 are charging as long as your factory one's still good. 100% satisfaction.UPDATE: After re charging these batteries a few times the length of recording time went up from 32 to 45 minutes.

These batteries seem to work as well as the originals - they charge quickly and last as long as the batteries that came with the device.

This was a good deal for the price. These batteries are very difficult to find in stores since the camera is so old. I think I purchased it in 2010. They don't last long in the camera, maybe 30 minutes, if that. With this purchase I have 3 total. It is enough to film or snap a few shots of what I need. The charger charges the batteries fast. In 2-3 hours. Small and portable, it's just what I needed to prevent packing my stock charger and cord. I haven't used the car charger yet. This is a pretty solid product so far. I just wish the batteries lasted longer.

These batteries are exactly the same as the originals, same color & markings, same size & orientation. I immediately began charging them out of the box, and was pleased to note that each needed less than 30 minutes to be fully charged--so they must have already been charged up before shipping, since they generally take a few hours to charge from dead. The only complaint I had was that the batteries had come out of their individual packaging sleeves & were loose inside the box, which could have caused great damage if the copper parts had connected together in shipping.Definitely worth the money, and perfect fit which was my major worry. I'll know more on how long they hold a charge, how long the charge lasts & how long it takes for a full charge once used, after I test them over the next weekend or two filming live shows with my camcorder. I'll try to remember to come back & update this review; however, no news is good news, meaning unless they disappoint me in some way, I doubt I'll come back to add to the review, unless prompted.UPDATED: These batteries last 45 continuous minutes even on HD filming, and closer to an hour on the lower HD settings. Very happy with this product.

I purchased the Wasabi Power Batteries as backups for my Sanyo Xacti. And these work great. I was going to buy an OEM battery but sure wasn't going to pay the $40+ for one. So I found these and thought it was worth a shot at $20 for 2 batteries. These things charge in about an hour, last the same as the OEM. They just work great. And the charger they come with is better then the one the Sanyo came with. All in all these are a great buy as either backups, or to replace your OEM.

I bought these to have extra battery when the original Sanyo battery ran down but these batteries do not hold a charge for very long. They do not deliver the same useful time as the original and after a few months they no longer hold any charge at all. Very poor quality. The charger works as expected.
